It would be an interesting fight, but the fight is not happening anytime soon. I think Ward beats Bute by decision, but he has to get by Dirrell first.
Bute is getting better each time out. As far as hometown cooking, he is just fighting. Blame the refs not him. He has evolved into a better fighter since the Andrade fight. I have no comment on Ward due to missing his fight. I will most definitely catch the next one.
I agree he is a pretty good fighter. However it's a pretty long stretch to call himthe best super middle in the world after he just beat a fighter whoes been beaten several times before by higher ranked fighers. Keith
Well, it's the most likely fight at super middle since no one not in the Super Six can beat him or even last 12 with him. I say Bute in a middle rounds KO. Then again, I thought Pavlik would KO Martinez in 10, so I don't know anything anymore...
Hey dude, i can see your name . You don't have to write it below every ****ing message you write. That would be something a ***** would do , OHHH WAIT?
Oh great, another ****ing newbie who can't debate the subject intelligently resorts to being upset about .......... A SIGNATURE. For me it's my very own dip**** radar. Dipshits can't resist it. Keith
Bute is getting better against very mediocre opposition. If he faces Ward or Dirrell he will be schooled. Bute is awkward, slow and freezes when attacked.
Boy, you are a dildo. Miranda got up at 6 true, but was staggering and didn't complain a bit. He was done. And the first andrade fight was a fluke and was also alot of blah about nothing. I've watched that part of the fight 10 times, and did my own count with a stop watch, and bute was up against the ropes at 8. The last round was over with bute standing up. Was is that called? Going the distance and winning a fair decision. BTW, how'd the rematch go? Bute/Ward is a 50/50 fight all day.
Really he freezes when attacked? Thought he counters when attacked resulting in hurting or KO'ing his opponent. When you actually watch the fights then you can comment.
Have to admit, I kept hearing Bute's name mentioned but thought he was just another fighter with a following but unproven. This was the first time I saw Bute in action and I was impressed. I want to see some more of his fights now, and wonder why he wasn't included in the Super 6. I don't think the common foe of Miranda necessarily means he's better than Ward though. I would pick Ward over Bute if I had to choose right now but could change my mind after seeing more of both fighters. Bute vs. the winner of the Super 6 could end up being a good fight -- maybe Showtime knew this and purposely left him out to keep that option open. I also thought Miranda was doing a pretty decent job until about 20 seconds before he got KO'ed. Too bad for him that he never had better coaching earlier in his career.
Damn I'm sick of this... first is: "Bute will lose to Bika/Berrio...", then after he beat them is: "aaawww... they were shot/no boxing skills", then: "bute will be ktfo by Andrade in the rematch", then: "aaawww... Andrade is just a boxing redneck... that doesn't count", now it was "Miranda will **** him up... cuz he's a slugger... and he's better than the last fights he had" and after the fight everybody's like "Miranda is a nobody" What the **** will you say when he beats: Abraham (aaawww... he already lost one before), Dirrell (aaawww...Dirrell is a running dude... not a boxer), Froch (aaawww... Dirrell already beat him ), Ward (he's just a little bit better version of Dirrell... so it doesn't count). Now Hopkins in the picture? Hell NO!!! it's gonna be like: "aaawww... he's 76 years old man... doesn't count" Who's left out there? Pavlik ... shot! I guess only if he's gonna KTFO Dawson in the first round you'll say "yeah... he's got some skills... not much... but he's got some" FFS
