Pavlik should move up in weight. If the reported weight on fight day was true, he really should move up.

178 is borderline SMW, even for that division, it's a lot.

Out of that list....He has a shot to beat froch imo, but i favor froch.....

He would lose to kessler, ward, dirrell, and bute.....

    He looks great against andrade...

I think its 50/50 against AA

Learn how to throw an effective left hook so when opponents are circling away from his right hand he has a weapon to neutralise this.

    1) stay out of the bars.
    2) dont fight AA, go to AA
    3) come into camp around 170.

He's lost to two great, technical boxers. One of them at a weight division he hasn't fought at before. Was he a bit overrated after the Taylor fights, probably. But that doesn't mean that his career is over. He fixes up his flaws, hire a new trainer, he can be competitive at 168. Lowe has taken him as far as he can, especially when you see that he had the same problems against Martinez as he did against B-Hop.

    1. Kick his match maker in the nuts.
    2. Fight Miranda again, as apparently beating him now means a whole lot
    3. Fight winner of Duddy / Chavez

I think a change in trainers might help Pavlik as well. Loew was giving Kelly good advice though when he told him to aim for Martinez' shoulders and chest instead of his head. He should have told him to cut off the ring more and more to his left against a southpaw - but it's easy to say that when I'm just watching it on TV.

He really is at a crossroads now.

    1. Move to 168 - More opponents, and won't have to kill himself to make weight.

    2. Fight a 2nd tier, but recognizable name - Jesse Brinkley, Peter Manfredo, maybe Sakio Bika.

Pavlik can't complete at the highest level, always been overrated. Changing trainer at this stage will be as pointless as Hatton doing it.

Let's face it hes been fighting bums for too long since Hopkins and he ducked Williams because he knew what was going to happen!
