You're right my mistake, but most people including myself had Sergio beating Williams by a very close decision. BTW MArtinez took that fight on short notice if a rematch happens he will leave no doubt about who's the superior fighter.
depends how your top 10 looks... he's for sure not above floyd - pac eh... yeah he's definitely up there matter of fact... lotta bums in the top 10 p4p being real.... he's up imo
I'm not going to argue that Martinez was robbed, but you could definately score it for Martinez. 'Best case scenario is a draw' is bollocks.
Who exactly is most? Because to me, most thought it's very close, best case for Sergio is draw. Anyway, i could agree with you that if it will happen again and i'm forced to place a bet. I will place it on Martinez, he made a fan out of me for his last 4 fights, especially last night's.
It depends how if you rank official or unofficial resumés. Unofficially may sound a bit stupid and can easily be bias, but it's like holding the Ramirez loss against Sweet Pea when he won all 12 rounds.
He belongs in the top 10. He's definately one of the one of the most talented fighters out there. However, his resume is lacking. He didn't officially beat Williams or Cintron, so you can't give him credit for beating people that he didn't. I'd put him in the top 10 regardless. However, one more good win and there should be no dispute about his top 10 status.
Quite simply, you are wrong. MOST people had it very close one way or the other, I saw a lot of scorecards for Martinez. MOST people agree it was a close fight either way. You are a Williams fan by your own admittance so of course you aren't going to admit Williams could have lost that fight, when the truth is he could easily have done so.
Most boxing observers and many posters on this site had that fight for Sergio, theres no doubt it was a close fight and i wont argue too much with a Williams victory but i had Sergio winning dont see how that is an outrageous opinion.the fact that for you the only two results possible are a draw or a win for Williams shows that you're clearly biased in Williams favor.
he's a much better pick then some of the random people that some major publications have in their top 10... like the - ring names like izzy vasqeuz cabalero donaire cotto shouln't even be in the mention at all
I see what you're saying but he wasn't robbed against Williams against Cintron yes but the Williams fight could have gone either way.
Yeah probably somewhere 6 - 10 maybe in official results he doesnt merit it but I think he beat Cintron AND Williams which is certainly enough IMO.
