Not with a points win according to my calculations. That would require a Ward win against Green in June. :huh

They were happy for him to leave I think.

Kessler leaving would screw things up a bit. Who would want to come in for one meaningless fight?

It would definitely **** things up, but you can't allow 1 man to leave then sue the next.

Think he would be giving up a fair amount of $$$ though. I'm guessing it's in the contract if you pull out a fair % will be withdrawn from your contract.

If some of the guy's score KO's Froch could end up on 4 points and still not go through!!!

He would be through with 2 wins unless people start knocking themselves out ffs.

On Kessler although he wouldn't be going through I don't think he would necessarily drop out unless he was 'beat up' badly and didn't look he would bring much to the last round robin match ups.

Showtime have these guys under a pretty restrictive contract from what I recall Froch saying and I couldn't see how he could get a bigger or better paid fight elsewhere.

If Green Beats Ward, Green Would be 1-0. I know this may seem pedantic but my reasons for asking are that if Green is @ 1-0 would he be above Dirrell @ 1-1?

all the super six says is "in the event of a draw on points a tie-break mechanism is in place" - does anyone know what this is?

although it is interesting to note that the current super six leaderboard has Kessler in 5th @ 0-1 and Green in 6th @ 0-0

It doesn't matter if they win on points or by KO, Froch will go through if he beats Kessler on points this Saturday. 100%.

Of course it does! How can Froch win 2 and NOT go through!
Also Allan Green could be out straight away after 1 fight if he doesnt beat ward
