Mosley was also discussed, and was of course a future opponent. Do you not think they had him in mind in the future, just like they had Oscar in sight? Like they had Mayweather in sight? I highly doubt in theory these guys are taking it one fight at a time. Just like they had Josh Clottey in mind at the time, how do you think the fight go done and dusted within days after contract negotiations broke down with Floyd?

    Its always the same thing.

I remember the good old days posters swore Floyd was scared of Hatton.

Now Hatton was a smaller, limited, overrated bum that Floyd cherrypicked.

Not too long ago Floyd was scared to sign a contract, and you never head anything about Shane's age. Everyone remembered his age after the contract was signed though.

For the record I think the odds are way way way too wide.

Didn't everyone know this beforehand? Why was everyone screaming that Mayweather was afraid of Mosley as late as February? What has changed in two months?

Mayweather started with the demands in the first place with his accusations that Pac was on steriods.

Again, if Mayweather didn't ask for these ridiculous demands that have never been asked before I think in the history of the sport, the fight would have happened.

You can twist it up however you want, but it would have happened. PERIOD.

Hell no. The guy offered to fight Pac at 140 lbs. and they said no. They fought a guy(Cotto) who looked like **** against Clottey instead. That tells me all I need to know.

If the demands are so ridiculous, then why did Shane accept them? Why did Holyfield agree to take addtional steroid tests against Tyson(even though Tyson didn't have to take the same tests)? Mayweather asking for addtional tests is more ridiculous than Pacquiao claiming he can't comply because he's not able to train for 3 days if he has a teaspoon of blood taken? Roach originally said they need a 5 day window. They were offered a 14 day window and still said no.

You know saying "PERIOD" at the end of a sentence doesn't mean ****. The fight didn't happen because Pac was afraid to take a needle and neither were willing to compromise enough.

Or what I believe is more likely every day....they're setting us up for a big winter super fight.

Why do you make the demands?

That's what it comes down to.

If he didn't make the demands in the first place, fight would have happened.

Don't make the demands if you wanna fight.

I mean what the **** is so hard to understand about this?

    Horse ****.

The real reason is because people are too inclined to look at Floyd's "0" and Mosley's age. A simple perspective for simple minds.

Those two numbers don't come close to telling the whole story in this one.

A lot of people are going to be surprised when Shane wins and dominates, but I won't.

    Thats what i keep saying

Even though i believe this fight is 50/50

Too many people are sleeping on Shane,Not giving him any chance

All i have to say is Dont be too surprised if you see Mayweather on the canvas come May 1st

Mosley has more power and a longer reach than Floyd. I give every other department to Floyd.

I hope thats simple enough for you.

You do realize that half the population on ESB are Floyd fanatics, right?

Won't it be bad for your business, aka ESB, if Floyd gets off'd?

"looked like ****"? i don't think so. He did win the fight, just not so convincingly. Looking like **** is when you lose.

Even if that was accurate (it's not), so what?

At different points in time, this place was flooded with fans of Oscar De La Hoya, Roy Jones, James Toney, Lennox Lewis, ect, and has always had a strong presence representing the Klitschko fan base.

    Affiliations shift over time.

ESB is not my site, but in my opinion--if Floyd gets off'd, this place will be out of control and become even more popular with people chiming in and joining up.

How the hell would Floyd losing be bad for a boxing site?

The reason Mosley is such a big underdog (one of them, anyway) is that people underrate the **** out of Mayorga.
