To be fair, I think the "slave contract" only kicks in if you win so who knows maybe other fighters were on the same deal but losing meant that we never saw the rematches.

I thought that if Haye beat Wlad then he'd be contractually obliged to fight Vitali and if he won that then he'd be contractually obliged to fight Wlad again. Wasn't that the objection Haye had?

It actually sounds ideal for Haye but then maybe K2 would have to be the promoters and each fight would be in Germany, there could be a million reasons why Haye considered the contract to make him a (very wealthy) slave!

He's ducking the Klitschko brothers and looking for a soft fight if you ask me.

The fight will happen, just cause you haven't heard nothing as of yet don't get ya knickers in a twist. Fight negotiations can take time....Also the whole of UK and much of europe have been no fly zones for a while, tho they can kick it off over a conference call maybe, who knows eh.

Wait until we hear some proper news and then some of these keyboard warriors can have their say, gloat or maybe not.

Yeah, David Haye lately is not one run his mouth off. Maybe we will hear some sort of news about David Haye's reply to the Klitschko call out in some time.

Borges wrote a piece about the Klit's and their contracts. They are always borderline punitive to opponents. And they take tantrums over any discrepancies - why do you think Wlad fought Rahman instead of Toney?

Wlad will have to get his mandatory done if he cant reach a fight with Haye.
Wlad vs Povetkin purse bid is set for the comming monday if im right so Haye will just sit and wait until Wlad has a fight set vs Povetkin or Peter if Povetkin wont take it and then Haye will claim that he is ready willing and able to fight Wlad but all of a sudden Wlad is not available and ducks him to fight another handpicked opponent.. :tired

    The fight won't happen next.

Haye wants to to be able to negotiate the Wlad fight on his own terms. At the moment Wlad can (legitimately) demand roughly 60% and there are too many companies with their fingers in Haye's pie.

My guess is that he has another couple of fights, during which he makes some more money, builds some more profile, and discharges his contractual responsibility to Sauerland. Only then will he seriously go after the Klits.

Probably equally wealthy, I doubt there's a big difference money wise. Just winning against bums like Valuev or Ruiz 3 times in a row is a tad more realistic than winning against the brothers 3 times in a row.

You said EXACTLY the same after Haye pulled out of the Wlad fight overnight.

    * "100% sure he will fight Vitali next, it's the next logical opponent"
    then
    * "100% sure he will fight the Klits after he grabs the belt from Valuev, he just needs more bargaining power"
    then
    * "100% sure he will fight them after the Ruiz mandatory, he just has to make sure the WBA doesn't strip him"

    and now?

    * "100% sure he will fight them as soon as possible"

Get the system yet? Excuse after excuse after excuse. When will you wake up?

Don't bother with this tool Mickey. He's still sulking after Haye hurt his feelings by pulling out of the original Wlad fight. Poor lamb.
