What if the ref stops it but MK protests he wasn't hurt and could have continued?

How would you feel? Would you cry "hometown robbery"? Would you cry "early stoppage"? Or would you say: "the Lacy fight wasn't stopped by the ref despite the lacying and a fight of this magnitude will also not be stopped early"? Would you say: Kessler should have known that he must protect himself/hit back and not be hit at will agains the cords by JC, so it is his fault if he lets it happen?:think

If the ref stopped the fight from a shoeshining barrage, and it was clear that Kessler wasn't hurt, of course it would be a robbery.

So, unless Kessler is "drowning" under the flurries, he'd better move and hit back unless he wants an early stoppage scenario to be on the cards? It's all his fault if he gets flurried and just absorbs them, even if he isn't in fact hurt, but just protecting himself, waiting for JC to tire, before hitting back?

If it's the same kind of shitty stoppage like JC-Manfredo, I would be pissed to say at least...

If Kessler appears a threat, then I doubt the referee will have the guts to do it in the most significant fight of this century.

Yeah, that was one of the worst stopages that I've seen all year.

Fair enough...but what if Kessler seems slightly hurt but still protests he wasn't hurt and could have continued?

If Kessler is even slightly hurt the fight should be stopped before things inevitably worsen for him and he is murdered.

The keyword here is punishment. Most of Calzaghes slaps aren't that punishing, just look at the Manfredo "fight".

Is what Calzaghe does to Kessler on Nov 3rd technically man-slaughter or murder -questionmark-
