    :happy

Vanes Martirosyan (27-0, 17KO's) against Joe Greene (22-0, 14KO's) will be the televised opener on the Cotto-Foreman card at Yankee Stadium on June 5th. Nice little fight between 2 young, undefeated Light Middleweights putting their '0' on the line, something we need to see more of.

Saw Vanes Martirosyan 2 years ago in Vegas on a smallish Arum show, very very good fighter and a great lad too. Was sitting with his mates uring the fight and he sat with me chatting watchin the main event

Remember seeing Greene on the Wlad-Ibragimov undercard and I was really impressed with him, haven't seen much of him since though. Anyone seen his fights since then and if so, what do you think?

The bits i've seen of Greene i'm quite impressed. He's a southpaw pressure fighter with power he definitely has a real chance in this fight, and he always seems to make for quite exciting fights. From what i remember though i think he's fairly easy to hit so his style may play into Vanes' hands.

Good to see mean joe back on big undercards. Remember seeing him a long time back and thinking he would pick a strap up. Then he was supposed to fight Martinez the night Cintron fought him but luckily for Joe he got gallstones  Haven't been too impressed by Martirosyan but a lot of talk about him so maybe he will come alive when he meets a good test.

Joe does a lot of things very well but doesn't do anything brilliant i think he might be able to sneak a win here.

This is a bit like Antwone Smith vs Mike Jones, two young talented guys that are not gonna be anything more then solid fighters facing off and testing themselves instead of treading water and having more padding then a wonder bra. It's how it should be so lets just hope the 'losers' are not discarded.

Vanes is a saucy little fighter who's impressed me in spots, but i think Greene wins a decision from a stylistic point.

Thought i'd give this a bump with less than a week to go until the big card at Yankee Stadium. I'm really looking forward to this fight and, as we seen last week with Perez-Mares where 2 young undefeated fighters squared off as chief support on the Vazquez-Marquez IV bill and stole the show, i think this one could upstage the main event.

I think this is Vanes' time to shine and he takes the decision in a great fight, how does everyone see this one going??
