I agree. I think somewhere around 1.2-1.4 is the number. I don't think the fight holds enough interest with the general public as it looked like it would at first. I hope I'm wrong though, but it's still a respectable number. But who gives a f*ck anyway the fight is what counts, people are too interested in numbers these days...

I don't see how. Mayweather only does big numbers when he has a big dance partner, because his fights are so boring. I think Floyd will break a million, but I'd be surprised if it goes over that.

    Will do 1-1.2.

Only Frazier vs Ali and Pac vs PBF would do 3.

  9. No more than 1.5 million. I'd be surprised did better

It won't even do 2m, let alone 3m. 3m is a HUGE number, i don't think even a Pac-Mayweather fight gets that many buys.

On what basis? It wouldn't do 3m, no way.

I'm Thinking 2 Million buys. I thought is was smart as hell putting Miguel Cotto's brother on the Televised portions of the Card...given the LARGE Boricua Boxing fanbase, SMART!!! And matching him (Cotto) vs an Undefeated prospect in Alvarez (Mexico vs Puerto Rico) will be SWEET...because Cotto actually has some talent. My only concern for him is that he was a late addition and he can be a VOLATILE MUTHA'FUKA'!!! In fact I am quite sure everyone remembers the now infamous Youtube video of Cotto "BLOWIN'-UP" and ready to scrap his uncle in the ring. But he has some talent.

The Cornelius Lock vs Daniel Ponce De Leon will be a nice fight also. There is also a young 140lbs prospect in the "Team Mayweather Camp" Jesse Vargas (9-0)...NICE!! I am hoping he's on the Televised cad also. The reason I am mentioning the undercard fights...there are alot of people (including myself) that really doesn't wanna spend $70 (64.95 in HD plus surcharges and fees) just to sit through some SHITTY-ASS fights before the Main-Event. Some fans want a "Full-Card" (at least 2 quality fights prior to Main-Event) before shelling-out their money.

Because of this MEDIOCRE card and the BIG-TIME Main-Event...I'm thinking 2 million buys. There were two fights that "they" (Matchmakers) were trying to make happen...Danny Jacobs vs undefeated Prospect Andy Lee and Peter Manfredo vs Peter Quillin, if those fights would have gotten made...in addition to Lock vs De Leon...2.5 to 3mil...NO PROBLEM.
