As long as we are consistent when judging the likes of Lewis', Contehs, Ken Bs, Honeyghans etc opponents against Frochs then theres no problem.

    So who has he beaten?

Pascal - beaten nobody, over-rated on the back of a war with Froch.

    Taylor - shot

    Dirrell - lost

Kessler - on the decline and lost

Taking aside Carl's willingness to fight King Kong, is it really that impressive?

Pascal is a legit 175 champ
Taylor is was in decline but not the beloved "shot"
He beat Dirrell on a lot of peoples scorecards.
    He lost to Kessler.

Thats a good set of performances from a British fighter no matter how you cut it IMHO.

Yes it is GOOD. Not the best British ever though. Performance or opponents.

Did you see Ospreys beat Munster?

Told you I wouldn't fall asleep. Am about to though.

    Have a good un :good

How anyone can slate froch's last 4 fights is beyond me. Pascal was a relatively unknown fighter like Froch and both made there name on a war they had. Both have gone on too add more to just that win. Pascal moving up and showing he is a legit champion i doubt he will beat Dawson but he will be a tough test for him.

Taylor like Gaz says wasn't completely gone he was on the slide but still a good test for anyone.

Dirrell fight could have gone either way, stylistically a nightmare for froch but he proved he could make Dirrell fight his fight. The Dirrell win looks better by the day.

Taylor wasn't even 'shot' in his fight against Abraham, so I don't know how he was in the Froch fight.

Amen. And I'm a Calzaghe fan not a Froch fan. Good solid fighter is Froch. Even if he is a total twat at times.

give credit to froch... tough dude.... but he has to change his style.... to last longer in the game and be more successful.... his COBRA style may have taken him this far but he starts to fight smarter at the elite level.... Pascal was a slugfest and froch admits his toughest fight before today.... Tatlor had him until he gassed late.... Dirrell probably outpointed him but ran like a ***** and now a very square basic Kessler - while being tough outboxed him - we need more from the british boxers.... i'd like to see more go to america and join up with some of the top coaches there to make these guys fight smarter

God, will you **** off,Taco Bill. If Khan fought opposition even half as good as Froch's, then someone might actually like the little punk.

I know what you mean with Green, but I think Kessler takes it. I am convinced that his defeat to Ward was more to do with the low level of opponent since the Calzaghe fight than anything to do with Kessler being shot...I can actually see him getting stronger as the contest goes on

Pascal - Legit title holder and IMO will beat Dawson who is massively overrated on here.

Taylor - Past his best but not shot...i'm also not buying this "he gassed" bull**** either. The first minute of the 12th round Taylor was the aggresor until Froch caught him straight down the pipe with a shot that hurt Taylor badly, thats when he got on his bike.

Dirrel - Closish fight, but after watching it several times Froch wins clearly.

Kessler - The best you could argue is a 115-113 card for Kessler, you could also argue that for Froch or even the draw...the fight was that close
