I think i have seen enough of Brock being hauled around the ring by an out of sorts Timur and a clubbing McCline, before losing his dignity against Vladimir.. I dont think a KO of Zuri Lawrence is going to persuede me to go with the Banker... Chambers is looking more and more clinical every time he boxes. He has fast accurate hands that enhance his good foot movement that makes him fast and Illusive.. Its all a downhill struggle for Calvin. Chambers is just looking all together a better subject at the minute..
I am wishing for Chambers, but I see Brock taking this one and winning on the scorecards. Brock will land the bigger shots leading to a close decision, unless Chambers could put Brock down, I really dont see him winning. I have this being a boring fight nobody will want to see, Brock is a very boring fighter for the most part, and we will actually see a "Boxing" display this time around.
Chambers is the current flavor of the month. He has looked good in the few fights he's had on TV, but Brock is a big step-up in class from The Southern Disaster. I don't see any advantages for Chambers in this fight. Brock wins by UD or late stoppage.
But Chambers is faster and the better technical boxer that's the advantage he has. I haven't seen much of Brock, but when I saw his fight with Timur I knew he sucks. He's slow and can't seem to put his combinations together, I have no idea how he got this far. Like Emmanuel Steward said, he's average on every catergory speed, footwork, well maybe except for power. There needs to be some better fighters in this division and Chambers will win because of that. This will be an exciting bout with Chambers showcasing his skills and showing how a true technical fighter fights.
Brock has the power, Chambers has the speed but enough speed and power to hurt you and get you out,Brock has less hustle but both men are coming to win, Chambers has not lost and is a new face, so I am rooting for him based on that.
Instead of Chambers Brock should fight Paolo Vidoz who stopped and kicked Brock out of the olympic tournament.
Brock is a little harder to land on than he appears at times. He was pretty much bodied off by McCline where he got tagged and dropped. And against Waldo it took Waldo more than 6 rounds to land anything significant. Brock doesn't have the best whiskers, but against Chambers that won't matter. Chambers likely will not try and force a no-contest like Timur did. I think some people on here are going to be surprised at how even this match is in terms of technique. Chambers makes his fare share of mistakes and I think Brock will be comfortable going into this. In the end, Brock's defense and his power will be the difference here. I expect him to shut Chambers down and win a fairly decent UD.
