Chris Arreola should fight David Tua next...

    In the wake of Chris Arreola's recent loss to Adamek and David Tua's continuing journey back to the big leagues, one of the hopeful fights for 2010 that had been spoken of before on ESB and as an avid fight fan myself would like to see. ARREOLA VS TUA

    There is plenty of respect to be gained both ways if these two were to make things happen. There definately would be alot of interest and drawing power in a Heavyweight fight like that. They would not be avoiding each other all night. I can see a KO classic.

    Did see Arreola speak interest of Tua few years back on youtube, but his profile had advanced from then, eventually getting his title shot against Vitali Klitschko. Now coming off a loss to slick boxer Tomasz Adamek, i think Arreola could gain alot from fighting Tua, no small accomplishment or props if he were to beat him.

    David Tua on the other hand has kept in great shape and continues to mark how serious he really is of another title shot. This is his time. Chris Arreola would be the perfect match up for him to get right back into contention and make some noise.

    I have always like Tua and would love him to fight a decent named opponent like Arreola. It's a fight I can see him winning as Arreola is there to be hit and will come at Tua which could be costly. Not sure how much Tua has left and style wise it could be a fight that may make Tua look good and get him back in contention.

    But I doubt Arreola's people would allow such a fight, if you're a come forward fighter with little boxing skills the last guy you want to fight is someone like Tua, even a faded Tua.

    This fight will not happen i think even at this stage Tua destroys the come forward Arreola.

    If he takes this fight and a probable third loss he is in danger of becoming irrelevant in the heavy's

    no way CA takes Tua on. CA needs an easier fight to get back on tract. Another loss and CA becomes totally irrelevant in the HW division. Although, maybe CA is irrelevant now and a win over Tua puts him back in

    problem is, IMO Tua rips CA's head off

    If Arreola would drop the extra weight it could be a fun fight. Is Tua back to his weight that he was at prior to his fight with Lewis? I remember him blowing up for the fight with Lewis, and never being able to get anything off.

    arreola would get knocked out early because he comes to fight but with nothing like the type of strength and power of tua. i think it would be a great fight to watch but a bad move for arreola. im a big fan of tua so i hope it does happen and that he gets a title shot. friday only went 12 rounds with him because he ran away. i thought monty barrett was next for tua anyway?

    Tua would slaughter Arreola. I can't believe that Arreola still refuses to train hard to get in shape. I had read that he looked trimmer for this fight and when I saw him without his shirt on I knew that he would never change.

    All tua does is fight bums and everyone is all over him acting like he can just fight a top 10 contender for the first time in years and easily win. F Tua!

    tua would do this and tua would do that...but Tua will fight Monte Barett and probbably David Bostice after that...but wishful thinking.....

    Exactly, how can people gauge what Tua would do to Arreola when the guy hasn't fought a live opponent in nearly a decade. Personally, I think Arreola would outpoint today's Tua rather easily. But, let's see. Its a compelling match up. Tua has the edge in power (or at least he used to). Arreola has a big advantage in work rate. Plus there's the issue of height and reach.

    Tua's tailor made for Arreola. People seriously think that Tua's gonna outmuscle someone who i regard as the bigger stronger version of David himself.
