Maybe add a 135 divison to the UFC but get some of those small guys in the lightweight talent pool?

At least the 145 and 155 guys could join UFC. I'd prefer to see Henderson, Cerrone and Aldo in the UFC 155.

    Thoughts?

I like Henderson and Cerrone in the UFC @ 155 but I like the WEC's explosive lower weight divisions as is. I like Aldo at 145 and he should make it to the UFC 155 if he kicks ass in WEC 155. Hell, to be honest, I think the WEC should add a 125 division but that's just me.

Of course the WEC should merge with the UFC. As is now, they are just milking us for more money.

No they shouldn't merge for the reasons below.

1.) it will make it hard for casual fans to keep track of fighters since theres gone be a an increase of fighters on the UFC roster.

2.) It will take away TV time from fighters in the higher weight classes

3.) Casual fans prefer to watch higher weight classes, this is the economic factor

4.) Its better to keep them seperate because fighters who conquer the WEC can move up and deepen the lightweight division

The whole mma organization should just merge and make it MMA instead of just ufc. There are so much talent and so much more mega fights if that happens.

    HW-Fedor-Brock-Arlovski-Mir-Overeem-Velazquez-Sylvia-Barnett etc
    LHW-rampage-machida-shogun-evans-king mo -Mousasi etc
    MW-Silva- Henderson-Vitor-Frank shamrock-cung le-shields etc
WW-GSP-alves-fitch-nick diaz(what weight is he fighting now?)
    LW-Penn-melendez-aoki-florian-gomi-cerrone etc
    FW-Faber-Aldo-Brown etc

so much talent..every PPV card could be packed from top to bottom

MMA could only work under a national organisation but not an organisation for profit.

Being in the UFC, means you are one of the best however the UFC can't take care of everyone so SF is needed to pick up the slack. I need to see the fighters in SF as they are quality fighters.

2 big orgs can be healthy competition. WBC vs WBA was great when big unifications were happening, fights were being hyped etc It all went to **** when 3, 4 and 5 orgs started getting big. Then boxing went to ****.

They are.It was announced in February of last year that the Flyweight(125) division is being started up but it may take a little while longer to really get it going.

WEC is owned by the same company so it would make sense to just leave it for lower weight classes. The problem though is it'll be harder to make up some star power among the lower weight classes without the UFC brand. Not impossible to do on their own but it would help.
