I had the fight a draw. The scores were ridiculous as the fight was close going into the 12th. I had Froch up a point through 11 rounds. Kessler got hit with a lot of punches, though the harder shots that Froch landed were landed early in the fight, but Kessler did land the harder shots punch for punch imo. MK's body shots slowed Froch a bit, and Froch's jab seemed like it couldn't miss. MK kept pressing though, and Froch was snake like at times with his defense until he got a bit winded. The fight imo was there for Froch to win on my scorecard, but as the judges showed...they are incompetent when it comes to scoring a fight. Either man could make a case as to who won, and I wouldn't argue, but I had the fight a draw. Kessler is back, and he had to hear a lot...so those who picked Froch, eat crow bitcheeeeeeeeeeeeeees lol... AA is still leading, but Ward has it all in front of him right now for him to lose.
I scored the fight as a draw also, very close fight throughout with several close rounds. Kessler's energy levels were impressive he seemed very focused and his body attack wore Froch down enough that Froch wasn't able to rally as strongly as he normally would in the later rounds. Infact Froch looked weak during the middle rounds. I am not a Froch fan and thought he would get stopped in the middle rounds but he showed a fantastic chin and was more elusive than I thought he would be. I think I have under estimated Froch, despite his ugly style the guy can definately fight. Personally I don't think either fighter really showed they were superior to the other. I hope one day they have a rematch as it was a great fight best of the super 6 so far.
I had it a draw... Both fighter's fought brillantly in the 11th and 12th. They displayed heart and courage. And, as Froch said, if this fight was in Nottingham, he probably walks away with the W. The two scorecards were a little outrageous... No way it was 117-111 or even 116-112. I could live with 115-113.
I had it 116-114 for Kessler. Scored a couple of rounds even as they were too hard to judge (on top of that I would miss the first 20-30 seconds of every round). I've not seen the fight since, and when remebering back on my thoughts during the fight, it could so easily have been a draw. Froch had some eye catching moments which won him some rounds, but unfortunately he didn't have enough of them. Most of the rounds were razor thin close, and were begging for someone to steal them. It's in these which I think Froch lost it, as he allowed himself to be stalked by Kessler, and let him steal points with the higher work rate.
