Lopez, Dawson or Ward for me.. I think Ward will win the super six then fight Dawson, that could decide p4p supremacy. Or if Lopez clears out featherweight then he also has a shout.

All of a sudden people are talking about Chad Dawson again? Sure, he's undefeated but all I used to hear from people was how he should have lost to Glen Johnson, had no power, very boring, etc.

Is it because Adamek is doing so well and Dawson is the only person with a win over Adamek?

Anyway, Dawson is very good. His first fight with Johnson was close and could have went either way (W12 Dawson). He did better in the rematch (W12 Dawson). He beat Tarver twice (Dawson W12 x2, didn't see the need for a rematch). He also beat Adamek (W12), Harding (W12), and a well past prime Carl Daniels (KO7) among others.

Dawson needs to fight a young hungry fighter. Somebody people care about. Who?

Ward, Dirrell, Froch, Kessler, Abraham, or Bute would be good choices... at this point Green shouldn't matter to Dawson, but that could change. No other SMW should matter to Dawson at this point.

At LHW? He is scheduled to fight Jean Pascal and he should beat him. The only other fights at LHW that matter are Bernard Hopkins (even if he is 100 years old), Zsolt Erdei, Tavoris Cloud. Erdei and Cloud matter as long as they are undefeated... they shouldn't matter much though. He should be thinking about bigger things if he wants to be considered great.

    At CW?

I really see him eventually moving up. Timing is everything. Beating Danny Green means something today but it might not mean anything tomorrow. Green would make a good opponent for a CW debut. Other good debut opponents would be Herbie Hide or Matt Godfrey, I'm serious! Others that matter are Cunningham, Huck, Flores, and Wlodarczyk. That's it at CW.

That's the way Dawson needs to think if he wants to be considered one of the best fighters of his era.

To top it all off he should push for a rematch with Adamek before Adamek gets beat by one of the Klitschkos.

I wonder what a Haye vs. Dawson fight would be like?

I thought Froch did just enough to win but it was a close fight. Can't really argue about the decision too much.

By the time those two retire, Mosley will be out of the picture, Bernard Hopkins will fight John Ruiz at HW, win a SD and be rated no.1 p4p.

Its early doors but i see Rigo as a better talent than both Juanma and Gamboa

Bute has a shot IMO - slick, skilful boxer, good power, good chin, good defence, and a very accurate counterpuncher, great bodyshots etc. Probably the best all-round skills outside of Mayweather and Pacman.

Anyone voting for Williams is crazy. The guy is basically a streak of **** who relies totally on his size; he has no fundamentals, blocks punches with his face, throws arm shots all over the place and is about as good a technical fighter as Edward Rackley.

dawson said himself he won't fight as a heavy.
he said he just might fight at cruiserweight when he is old.
    //
and best for him is to remain at 175 , or look for catchweight fights between 170 and 180 , if he can make 170 at all.
maybe even a 185 catchweight rematch with adamek , if adamek can make 185 , or some 180-185 catchweight with cunningham if cunningham can make such weight.
a fight between him and the winner of the super6 will have to be at a catchweight below 175.
