He said it was a draw or Miguel had the edge, meaning he didn't think he won the fight. He then later told Oscar in the dressing room that Cotto deserved the decision, which Oscar mentioned during the post fight presser....

It seems after Mosleys performance against Margarito and Cottos against Clottey people get the idea that Mosley would KO Cotto in a rematch.

I watched this fight AGAIN and i just find it difficult to give the fight to Shane. How people can say it was a robbery and hometown cooking is beyond me.

    Round 1-Cotto
    Round 2-Mosley
    Round 3-Mosley
    Round 4-Cotto
    Round 5-Cotto
Round 6-Cotto (Very clear Cotto round)
    Round 7-Cotto
    Round 8-Cotto
Round 9-Mosley (Very clear Mosley round)
    Round 10-Tie
Round 11-Cotto (Very clear Cotto round)
Round 12-Mosley (Cotto gave him the round)

    116-113 Cotto

It was a close, but clear Cotto victory. Even Mosley thought Cotto won the fight. Great fight not a dull moment.

rewatched again like 10 minutes and what a great fight that was. I still get the same scorecard of 7 rounds to 5 for Cotto.

I have seen before that people say mosley had an off night but that is the same Mosley post cotto fight. It was a great win for Cotto.

How did you score the 7th for Cotto?

anyway, I was rooting for Mosley in this fight hard. I was shocked at how Cotto was able to outbox him at times, even off the back foot. I had Cotto by 2 rounds.

Was there any talk of a rematch before both boxers went on to other fights?

    Cleary Cotto round.

Mosley connected with some body shots but Cotto connected with several head shots. Power shots count would probably be even but judges will always see the head shot more than body shot. So there is not controversy here, plus the head shots in that figfht seemed to have more power, notably towards the end of the round and the middle of the round at about a minute.

I've noticed this with Mosley in some of his recent fights... he seems to fade a bit down the stretch. Could be the difference on Saturday.

Close fight,Mosley showed great speed BUT he gave Cotto far too much respect, had he been aggressive like Pac, he wins and likely by stoppage.

Mosley didnt seem to really have the hunger back then

The hunger came back in the Margarito fight, that was 1 hungry ass Sugar Shane of course rejuvenated by his new Trainer Nazim

Shane got the motivation and hunger back

But he def lost to Cotto

    a Close fight

    But Cotto clearly beat shane
