Shane's left hook to the body is a super punch.

It'll have to be. I tend to agree with Lampley in that Mosley will find it difficult to land the right thus making the left hook such an important utility. I've always thought that body work would be the key to negating Mayweather's speed and I'm anxious to see if Mosley prioritizes a downstairs attack.

i think it'll be shanes straight right, floyd would probably just parry the left hook and counter off it

And then some. Mosley's chances at victory are slim to none, imv. He'll really have to put together a virtuoso performance to even come close to a victory. Still, his best chances, imo, is to attack Floyd's body with his hooks, as LukeO stated.

Go watch castillo and hoya and tell me that a good jab doesnt neutralize mayweather. Its THE ultimate attack on the dude

his best chance to beat floyd is to out work him. throw 3 punches and move. fight like the smaller guy even though you are just a strong and big if not bigger and stronger than mayweather. this will force mayweather out of his usual defensive posture as he will have to be more aggressive in trying to keep mosley from stealing rounds. that will give mosley the chance to do some real damage once he takes floyd out of his comfort zone.

even hatton was competitive when he stuck to the jab and didnt start running out of gas. suprisingly competitive when you watch it again....

its the jab but like other posters have said he'll need to follow it up with more too

anyone who knows boxing knows it is the JAB that Shane must be putting out there the whole fight in order to beat mayweather...De La Hoya was beating Floyd until he stopped jabbing...De La Hoya had a longer reach than Shane so its gonna be hard for him to do.

It wasnt ever really competitive...go back and look. Hatton wasn't landing punches. It just looked competitive because there was a lot of action... I guess if you call Floyd landing clean punches to Hattons head and Hatton landing on Floyds arms competitive then by all means it was...
