    It's a bull **** statement to make. It is easy to say that in hindsight (not that he isn't any good anyway).
    Carl didn't go to prime time due to how he performed against dirrell, the tourno is tied in with deals that are in place, and prime time is part of that deal.
    How can you say carl wasn't THAT good? He has lost, fair enough, but only against a former WBC champion who isn't too shabby. You are yet another hater. He won the title against the current LHW champion, and defeated world class opposition in dirrell and taylor, and is commited to fighting the best SMW in the world. I am sorry but you do not get to his level without being at least very good at what you do.

    Its a ridiculous point because by being

    A ) British

    and

    B) Good enough to compete at world title level in entertaining fights

    He is therefore worth investing in.

    I can give you a few reasons why Froch is on not ITV, or Sky, his marketing team is extremely poor, nobody outside those who follow boxing even know who he is, and his personality makes it hard for the public to warm to him.

    His "marketing team" is Mick Hennessey at Hennessey sports he is the PROMOTER after all he is involved in promotion. He did well up to a certain extent made him a marquee fighter and well known in Nottingham so he will always pack out the arena there but Pascal/Taylor (if he was with Warren) would have taken him national. He failed in this and as a result of the exposure he has got in the states is a bigger name there than here

    Clearly you seem to have more inside info that I do. I wasn't aware of Mick Hennesey trying to squeeze even more pennies out of ones coffers.

    If that is the case, then it's probably about time Froch finds a new promoter. The fact that he seems to be floating as opposed to an established name like Khan, Hatton and Haye isn't a good look. I like the guy, and I feel for him a bit too.

    The BBC are full of shite anyway. British people need to realise that its our money their pissing away on the likes of Jonathon Ross and Co. That guy was on £4m a year hosting his pants show. 10% of that figure would've been enough to televise Froch x Kessler; let alone Pascal and taylor.

    I don't blame froch for not wanting to go to Germany. The truth is that the fight could well go the distance as both fighters are without doubt solid in their respective departments.

    I remember when the BBC used to replay boxing on Sunday afternoons from the states.DLH, Vargas and Vernon forrest were some of the few fight a remember watching.

    If Skysports have the money to show live and exclusive boxing through HBO and Showtime, then surely they can find some coins with in their budget to support Froch.

    According to some of you guys, it seem as though Hennesey is willing to accept nothing as opposed to something for the sake of what? If that really is the case then Froch needs to jump ship. And I admit that maybe it is not all the fault of the Networks :roll:
