Why in the world would you have a clause in their contract that stipulates a rematch if Mayweather loses to Mosely? There must be some doubts in the Mayweather camp of a possibility of a Mosely victory. Does this mean that if Mosely wins he cannot fight no other boxers except for a rematch with Mayweather. So if Pac wants to fight Mosely (if he wins), he have to wait after the Mayweather/Mosely rematch.

If he gets head butt and gets a big gash on his face that doesn't allow him to continue

Standard contract clause. Floyd had the same in the Marquez fight. This is what good lawyers do. Something you wouldn't know since your a broke message board hater who will never see a million dollars.

    Owned......

    End Thread.

I should add that Mosley had a rematch clause with both Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright.

If you knew anything about boxing, why in the world would you ask why an undefeated fighter would ask for a rematch clause? :think:yep

Elerbe said he had it put in his contract without him knowing. If he loses via cut or disqualification, he needs to be protected with a rematch clause.

Did you expect him to come out in interviews and say(in your words) "I am not confidence enough beat Mosley"?

This isn't the first fighter to show confidence going in a fight with a rematch claused signed and ready. No matter how confident he is he uses commons sense and that's when newbies like you get an idea of why it's there. In boxing he could be doing great and winning easily only for everything to change after either suffering an unlucky injury, or taking one punch unexpectedly and getting KO'd right there or many other similar unlucky situations EVERYONE is vulnerable to in the ring.
