And why do they keep putting Valuev in with skilled, mobile boxers like Chagaev, Holyfield and Haye...

His management needs to match him with more big plodding bangers that will try to stand and trade with him... That might actually be entertaining!

Maybe Solis will make a better scrap... he's too fat to run around for 12 rounds.

When you're my age "recent memory" goes back a long freaking time, so I have to say Davey Moore was managed worse than just about any fighter in history. At a time when this kid should have been fighting 6 rounders in the Shoe Boot Mississippi High School Gym he was on the big stage fighting Robert ****ing Duran!!!

    Vargas
    Wright
Tyson (at the end when he needed $ and was still making 3-4 millions fighting nobodies he gets matched up against 2 behemoths in Williams and McBride. Dude should have been fighting blown up cruisers and fighting his way outta debt)

    What about best managed?

Has to be some of the Sauerland promoted fighters for me. They turn ordinary boxers into world champions and milk the ca$h cow...

Hard to believe I'm the only one who brought up Cotto's name. He was considered a beast just awhile ago, until Margo got ahold of him. To me, there's no greater travesty than to see a champion get his head beat in and instanty become "damaged goods".

John Murray, too inactive and keeps fighting for "vacant" british lightweight title?? now hes finally fighting for the "vacant" european title when he should have been pushed to fight Khan or a world lightweight title last year. No guesses who hes managed by...

The one that sticks with me is putting him on television against Kid Diamond. For many people, that was their only exposure to Augustus. I was laughed at by quite a few casual fans who had heard of him through me but had only seen him on that night.

I can not believe I am saying this but If I was a boxer based in the UK I think I would prefer to sign with Frank Warren. Mick is just some wise guy from the local veg market. Clearly way out of his depth right now.
