I like Quartey about 7-5 or 6-5-1. Maybe a split decision.

Meldrick is not stopping teak tough Ike. Naturally bigger Ike wears him down for a late stoppage or ud.

Ike would destroy Taylor. He is simply too strong and physical for Taylor to hold up against.

I think Quartey stops him too big too strong.

Taylor's best weight was Jr Welterweight and whilst he did have some success at Welterweight beating Aaron Davis for the WBA title. He was also floored twice vs Glenwood Brown.

I just don't think Taylor was the same force at Welterweight that he was at Jr Welterweight. And Quartey was a very hard hitting Welterweight and significantly bigger than Taylor.

I just don't see how Taylor with his style and being undersized could possibly go 12 rounds with Quartey.

I see Ike ultimately beating Meldrick into submission (8-10ish rounds)

I agree, and I'll add Quartey had a very educated, and
one of the hardest jabs in the divisions history.
With Taylor's tendency of staying in the pocket
and trading, taking shots to give shots
    with his defensive liabilities ,
It really could be a short night for him.
Quartey stops Taylor with in 10 rds in my
    opnion.

Quartey stops Taylor in the mid to late rounds.

Taylor was undersized at 147 and really only looked that good in one fight there.

Quartey is significantly better than Brook, Porter, Thurman, Maidana, Khan.

Taylor is also certainly not on the same level as those fighters yes he had blinding speed and talent, but those fighters also did alot of things better than Taylor and he certainly isn't as good as those fighters at Welterweight.

Taylor does okay early but Quartey overpowers and puts a bad beating on him as the fight goes on.
