Bute won both fights and knocked Andrade out. Kessler didn't. ;)

Problem was that in the province of Quebec, the regulation says that the timekeeper has to wait that the referee resumes the fight before ringing the bell. Sets of rules were incompatible.

You can watch the fighters fights, you know. That tells somthing resumes don't. Many experts think Bute is the number 1 or 2 of the division. They must have some reasons.

The other boxers fans think he's overrated. Maybe because they just want their boxer near the top? :nut

He`s not thinking he deserves, Scottish, he really desrves.Ans is not only my opinion.IF HBO thinks...

But on the other hand who is risking everythin?

Who was Ward before the tourney? A mandatory? So he is the one who took a ticket of favour, especially with all preliminary matches home.

Who was Direll before the tourney if Bute isn`t a name? Nobody? He received a ticket of favor biggere even than Ward who was at least a next mandatory.

Who was Taylor? A loser. What was he risking?

Not to mention Green who`s completely out of league.

I`ll tell you who was Bute: the most longevive champion of SMW from all four, having the belt for to non-interrupted years.

So, if they didn`t invite him (officially) or proposed non-equal conditions with the other champions involved (two matches home) who was stupid to accept?

California is a state, not a town. It's a BIG state on top of that. 30 million or so, give or take. Stop disagreeing with me on **** just for the sake of disagreeing. I'll give you the Klitschko's being Ukrainian that one time, I was just being stubborn for whatever reason. But that's ONCE you were right.

On top of walking through a hostile chorus of boos in Athens on his way to the gold, which I know, means diddly to you....Ward has fought 6 of his 21 fights outside of California, and 19 of them outside of Oakland. Actually quite a bit of travel for a fighter that soon in his career. Kessler would be a hometown fighter, since you ask. Bute is ABSOLUTELY a hometown fighter. Yes...seriously.

    After 21 fights:

Bute fought 15 fights in Montreal, Kessler fought 9 fights in Copenhagen, Froch fought 9 fights in Nottingham, Ward has fought TWICE in Oakland.

Which one of these fighters is NOT a hometown fighter?

Splitting fights with Andrade and beating Miranda is a true mark of quality at 168 and absolute proof he is the best at 168. No doubt what so ever he is best. Hell bring on Chad Dawson. After he beats Sakio Bika he'll be a shoe in for the hall of fame!

Don't forget about his big win over the legendary Alejandro Berrio as well as his epic performance against the young, up and coming William Joppy.

Oh, and furthermore, don't forget that the guy you were replying to is a racist jackass with a racially motivated agenda.

If you want to argue in this manner you have a point, David.

But we can`t see the entire picture this way.

Ward fought a single fight outside US territory, in some island where he was practicallly home according Cobbler`s reasoning in a fight probably organized by his promoter, anyway without signaficative hostile crowd as the same Cobbler said.

So, WARD DISPUTED ALL MATCHES MINUS ONE IN HIS OWN COUNTRY.
And don`t bull**** me with that "every state is like a different country in US". YOUR COUNTRY IS YOUR COUNTRY ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SPEAK ABOUT THE MOST NATIONALIST OF ALL:US.

iN EXCHANGE, BUTE HAD THREE MATCHES IN THE MOST HOSTILE TERRITORY: the same US (obviously against local fighters) so

IF BUTE IS MORE HOMETOWN FIGHTER THAN WARD, and this can`t be argue with , THEN WARD IS MORE OWN COUNTRY FIGHTER THAN BUTE and you can`t argue with this either.

Yes, Lucian had more own crowed support, but Andre didn`t face hostility yet.L

Lucian He TKO-ed Norman JOhnnson in Boston in 2nd/6 and,TKO-ed Rico Cason in 2nd/6 in Florida, TKO-ed Tyler Hughes in Atlantic City IN 3-rd/6

IN exchange, Andre Ward didn`t accept to fight ANY PRELIMINARY MATCHES OF SUPER 6 OUTSIDE US, receiving an advantage that ven hold belters received it.ANd after 5 bouts , being 5 home victories you see how "small" was the favour card

And you complain about Bute having homeland advantage.

    This is hipocrisy, David!

Wrong, wrong, wrong, WRONG!!!! We can argue it in any manner you choose, sir. My theory of every state in the U.S. being equivalent to each country in Europe is one valid ****ing theory. Our population, combined with the much, much higher density of fighters, quality ones at that, are far outnumbered in damn near every European country by a about a dozen different U.S. states. FACT! NOT bull****! Ward's sparring partners alone are guys that Bute has never seen the likes of. BANK THAT! I know things, kind sir.

Now, you want to talk bull**** after just trying to blame me for talking it? Apparently. Bute has fought in hostile territory? You're telling ME not to bull**** YOU? Now that makes YOU the hypocrite doesn't it? The very thing you just accused of me. You Canadians and Euros put up passionate debates, but you are terrible at debates. You backtrack, change the arguements as you go, and try to spin **** after being proven wrong.

The fighting out of the country thing? There are 307 million people in the U.S. There are 33 million in Canada. DO YOU ****ING GET IT YET? Even more devastating for your **** poor argument....boxing is American, not Canadian. Hockey is Canadian. Candadian bacon is Canadian. Northern California alone has fighters talented and skilled enough to clean Canada out! FACT! You're argument is bland and carries NO weight. It's WEAK, kind sir.

  15. So good that he hasn't fought the other BEST SMW's in the world.:nut
