I did not like Mayweather's uncle and father....go far enough back, before I really learned to appreciate, hit and run artists, Bones Brown and Curtis Cokes were not my fighters....being more the Dick Tiger or Fulmer type.

The best round I liked with Mayweather was the one he lost; the 12th with Castillio in the first fight. He proved he could stand and fight.....

By the way, I who was definatly not a Mayweather fan, had him easily winning that fight.

He took the first six rounds clean, and edged out a number of other rounds. He was like a superball on coke, those first six rounds. I'd never seen anyone run so fast, and hit and run so fast in all my life.
For once I was not wearing my rose colored glasses.

I immagine Willi Pep would be hated today too.

As a fighter yes. Certainly great but he is nowhere near the greatest of all time.

Well, let's all hope that there will be compromise soon, so that we can see an action pack fight between Pac and May. May is good, but I have to back Pac up. I think Pac has a great chance of beating May from what I've seen this evening. PAC by TKO.

IT doesn;t work like that.

Floyd cannot pick an opponent and then say "look this guy is a real tough guy. He is in his prime!.. ok, no he is not..... but he is active! ... oh, no he is not.... But he is ... " ..whatever!

Floyd and his team and GBP dont get to tell us what we should think about the fights. Fightfans KNOW which fights could possibly provide a challenge for Floyd.

One is Pac (who I still find a bit small - despite being a very good boxer).
Another - and imo. more interesting fight, is Martinez!
