I have'nt seen the Mosley-Mayweather fight, **** something came up........

......but in any regards, I was briefed by a friend who did.

I'd venture to guess that Mosely got dominated by skill, where Marquez got dominated because he was physically overmatched.

What was needed to beat Mayweather is JMM's skill and know how in Mosley's physical body.

Of course, I'll have to see the Mayweather-Mosley fight so I can analyze it and comment further.

I will say this, back when the JMM-Mayweather fight was announced, I voiced my displeasure of it in this forum and was laughed at when I said that the Welterweight matchup I felt was winnable for JMM was a fight with Mosley because against Mosley, Marquez' skills were exponentially greater than his, and so was his chance at having a clear advantage over Mosley that JMM could exploit, where against Mayweather imo, the skill and knowhow were very close, but every physical advantage favored Mayweather.

Now with Mosley, he had a physical size and strenghth advantage over Mayweather that Marquez did not have, so of course Mosely at least had the punchers chance going in that Marquez did not.

Now, without having seen the fight, I'd bet Marquez looked much more comfortable seeing Mayweather incoming and knowing what Mayweather was trying to accomplish against him than Mosley could ever be.
.....but of course, I'm just insinuating from knowing the fighters qualities, I'll definitely have more to say when I actually am able to get a copy of this fight.

Mosley lost 11 rounds to 1 on my score card!! I think JMM looked better, he didnt get hit cleanly as much as shane!! And after all JMM was a light weight fighting a full fledged welter!!

I feel that shane would of been tko'd if the fight was 15 rounds, after the jmm-mayweather fight it looked like jmm could go 18 rounds with floyd!!!

OK, then, to settle who did better against PBF, let's match them up head-to-head with Marquez venturing up to 147 again assuming he beats Juan Diaz

hatton gave a better go at him than either! jmm was just way to small and shane wasn't brave enough to go toe to toe an risk getting knocked out. if he tryed to turn it in to a war he might of been able to land something but instead he just played it safe an got countered all night. he obviously had the power to hurt floyd but was to worried about running out of steam. he's not 38 any more now he's nearer 45! his corner should have pulled him out at the end of the 10th.
