First off, I knew this would happen if Floyd defeated Shane decisively. People would start saying Mosley is old, not worthy..bla bla. The basic truth is this. Floyd is younger, faster, quicker, sharper then Shane. Thus the win. Floyd deserves all the credit.

Mosley has had a excellent career. He will be in the Hall of Fame. He just can't beat Floyd Mayweather. I think Floyd proved last night he is an all time great. Mosley was 38 but he still was ranked 3rd in the world pound for pound.

Pacquiao and Mayweather is just that much better then everybody else out there right now.

No one is hating on Mosley. Mosley is been very past it since before fighting Cotto.

Can't hate on Mosley. He looked awful, but a lot of that was due to Floyd getting him so wound up.

There's a huge talent gap between Floyd Mayweather and the rest of boxing. 41-0, to me, means something now after beating Mosley.

Mosley is still the man in my eyes. Fought the best beat some of the best. Has always came to fight and for the most part conducted himself in a classy manner. Listen Shane is 39 next month and hasnt fought in awhile but Mayweather still dominated one of the best Welterweights out there hell possibly the best besides himself give him atleast some credit. I dont know what happens vs a 2000 Mosley but I cant imagine a 2000 Mosley just comes out and destroys Mayweather it would be a tough fight IMO. Mayweather deserves some credit he stood his ground and dominated.

**** that. I'd still say that Mosley would beat Pac if they were ever to fight.

    Yeah I said it.

I like the guy too much to hate him. I just never wanted seeing him humiliated like that.

He was defeated 100% last night. Plain & simple.
(IMO, The way Floyd looked last night... I'm not sure if the "Prime/Shot" even matters)

Mayweather beat his ass, Accept it.
    I did, stop making excuses.

Mosley finally was in a fight with someone faster than him. Speed doesn't like fighting speed and mosley wasn't able to deal with Floyd's. As for pacman, I don't think Manny is ready for Mayweather either but after mayweather whips him they will say manny was too small.

I hate watching Mayweather fights. He is so far beyond everyone else it is boring. The only excitement I have seen in one of his fights since the Judah fight was round two when Mosley landed those few flush shots. For one round I thought that Floyd was going to get himself in classic. After round 9 I turned off the television and went to bed. I figured I already knew what the last three rounds would look like. Mayweather is the best, does he beat Pacman? I think so, but it would be a testament to Pac if he could make it a good fight. At the end of the day, Mayweather is amazing, but man I want to see him in a classic fight. A fight where he has to dig deep, a fight that I don't turn off because while what he does is complete mastery, its boring as hell to watch round after round. In fairness, this is simply because the competition can't challenge him, he is just that good.

There's absolutely no reason whatsoever for true boxing fans to hate SSM. He got beat decisively last night. Disappointed yes, hate no. Props to FMJ for a job well done.
