He has passed his physical peak, but only slightly. Better experience compensates

You guys are imbeciles. Money hasn't even begun to hit his prime yet. The best is yet to come, I guarantee it.

He's definitely not at his peak. Not as a welterweight, not at 33 and not after his layoff. But I agree with mariti, he's a stronger welterweight now than he probably has ever been.

Honestly I don't see how he's past his prime. He may be slightly slower than before but I think as a fighter he is much better now than ever before to be honest. He's smarter, stronger, much more experienced and even trickier. Great perfomance by the way and I'm looking forward to his next fight.

Not really. Marciano never lost but was declining a bit very late in his career.

Agreed. Take Holmes for example. He was in decline from Snipes onward. He still dominated Cooney a year later but the telltale signs of slippage became more apparent with each fight, Witherspoon being the case in point.

dont think we lll truly know til its all over. he may not be as fast- but hes stronger and smarter than ever. And i have a feeling his defining performances are yet to come. If nd when he beats pacquiao- it would require a great performance by either man. lets wait and see.

87 jordan was the 'prime' jordan- but it was 97 jordan that had 6 rings and learnt to win- if you get my drift.

Out of 100% peak, he's no less than 95% now. While he's not as fast, he's stronger and much more experienced. His overall game is even better now, i would say. This is the best welter Floyd I've seen.

Floyds peak and prime was at 130, since then hes improved skillwise but his physical attributes have deteriorated slowly.
