Floyd rarely gets hit and I have to go by what I see. I have watched many men get hit by very tough shots. I have seen them go down, I have seen them absorb those shots without blinking. What I saw from Floyd was towards the bottom of that scale. Frankly, I've never seen anyone seem so tender after a single shot without actually going down. I was literally worried about the man's health.

Manny gets caught often, Floyd does not. For every tape you might have of Manny getting rocked silly, I could come up with 5 or 6 of him absorbing similar shots without blinking.

For Floyd, all we have is that one big shot that anyone ever landed on him. And he looked downright tender.

One shot. Just one shot had him loopy. This is a sport whose players take shots like that regularly. Compared to me or you, sure, Floyd has a great chin. Compared to the boxer average, Floyd is below it.

The man is a great fighter. Why it is so hard to admit he has this one weakness is mind-boggling. You can not go your entire career, never getting hit, and then when you finally DO get hit, you get all loopy, and expect people to believe you have a good chin. He does not have a good chin, he just never gets hit. Which is good enough OBVIOUSLY! He is freaking incredible.

I dont really follow ur logic here. Id say his chin is fine it still wasnt really tested that night. mean right after he took the shoot he smilled and kept going. If ur chin is questionable he woulda still been hurt going into the thrid round.

Well the reason why its never really tested is because floyd rarely gets hit. The reason i say his chin is a liability is because of the way his body freezes up for a couple of seconds when he gets hit flush. Corley landed a straight left where floyd froze up, so did zab (with a straight left and a right hook on 2 occasions), and shane as well. Floyd has godly like conditioning however. And his defensive skills on top of that might make up for it completely. But I guess the point in all of this is that the old saying 'you cant train your chin in the gym', holds very, very true.
