when will he slow down enough to make it a fair fight for other welters?

    If he's 33 now....

    Barring a fight with Pac?
No one seriously believes Pac will beat Floyd, they're already readying excuses.

I think his style will allow him to fight through to 35-40 if he wants to. He is so good technically that he won't fade overnight like RJJ did but he'll be a bit more beatable.

I think it's more so if he goes up too far in weight that he gets beat.

pacquiao is waiting till next year....the funny thing is no one cares whether mayweather is out of his prime or not, they just want him to be beaten...if mayweather behaved differently they would have treated him like the second coming lol...

this is like the movie troy lol

i put barring Pac, because him and Floyd are leagues in front of everyone else at the moment. Pac could win, I'm not saying he definitely will.

The problem is we all knew his speed and footwork would fade and drop with age and fighting at 147 but it was not widely anticipated that he would be as agressive he was against Shugar Shane. It has to give him a few extra years of dominance knowing he can rely on interlect and counter punching as well as his newly displayed talent of hitting rather hard.

I get the feeling Mayweather will fight another four or five fights, at most. I don't see him fighting above Welterweight unless Yuri Foreman beats Cotto and continues his wild rise in boxing (people seemingly love the kid)

I think he'll fight Pacquaio, potentially Berto, maybe Bradley.

You look at Bradley and see a great up and coming fighter that is being avoided by many , fair enough the draw isnt very big so you cannt blame boxers or their managment for this. Can anyone see Bradly standing a chance against Floyd , Flloyd can shure as hell outpoint him , after the SMM fight its more than plausable that he can simply out punch and out power him.

If that's his path, it only depends on if he can pull it off against Pac if he will keep on winning. Bradley and certainly Berto are a step down.

Bradley and Berto need to keep winning, I'm more so looking at the future after Floyd finishes with Pac, dominates him and sends him back to 135-140 like he did with JMM.

He'll take on a few younger stars, use his own marketability to ensure the fight is big while getting a huge percentage of the profits.

I mean seriously, who is left for him to beat after Pacquaio that is on that "mega" scale? He's put them all away.

Khan won't have a chance against Floyd unless Floyd REALLY detoriates in the next few years. Khan's chin is very crackable for a guy like Floyd and that really takes away any chance Khan has of winning in my view.

35-36 depending on how fast his body deteriorates. Making it to your mid 30's with your abilities intact is still prety good though... but I suspect Floyd will bail on boxing the moment he feels he's slowing down. He doesn't have enough passion for the sport anymore to stick around any longer than that. One loss or a bad win and that might just be it for him.
