If it was only Manny Pacquiao – and not Shane Mosley – who struck with that thunderbolt punch that buckled Floyd Mayweather’s knees over the weekend in Las Vegas, the fight would have been over moments later.
Talking to American scribe Mike Marley, who is down with Pacquiao in General Santos City to cover the elections, the Filipino pound-for-pound king told the former Don King PR man that the outcome would have been different.

“If I can hit Mayweather like that, I will finish him off. I would continue the attack in a way that Mosley did not,” said Pacquiao, referring to the Mosley right hand that turned Mayweather’s legs into jelly.
Mayweather weathered the second-round storm and cruised to a lopsided win over Mosley, a victory that only put pressure on the camps of the two fighters – Pacquiao and Mayweather – to reach a compromise agreement.

He hasn't scored an actual KO over a welterweight yet, why would he think that he'll do it against Floyd? He had Cotto hurt and let him off the hook. He needed the ref to finish it for him He landed everything in the world on DLH and didn't buckle him. He threw 1200 punches at Clottey and didn't even hurt him.

FFS he knocked Marquez down 4 times over two fights and didn't finish him. Pacquiao reads too much of his own fans bull****. He's a very good puncher, but only an average finisher.

Maybe it comes from his official website... oh wait... it's not his website now, is it?

Anyway, there's no point in speculating: Pac fans will say Pac will win and Floyd fans will say Floyd will win. We'll just have to wait and see and hopefully the fight will take place. Personally, I see Pacquiao eating countless counters.

What would happen to Pac if he was hit with that right hand from Mosely? We know Pac has been knocked out twice in his career.

Pac has been knocked twice in his career and severely beaten up by Eric Morales.

Enough with the what if's already. I just want my mans Pacquiao to get in the ring with floyd and show us all the real deal. Tired of playing the if this and if that card. Let's just see the fight already.

    wtf does that mean??/

i hear that all the time...if i knock u out today and you have never lost a fight...(so i basically gave away the blueprint to stopping you)

and then someone comes behind me and does the same thing but faster...isnt that whats supposed to happen?

No such thing as a better ko...one might be faster...but a ko is a ko
