Honestly, Floyd's a cherry picker more interested than EASY and FREE rather than REAL.

me at 5-9 and 250 pounds looking like a white Jerome Bettis id say you would have enough trouble with just me let alone me and MSTR.
    :good

Australian trainers aka Johnny Lewis changed Tszyu from a freak of nature as we saw in the lesson he gave Forrest to a man that relyed to much on natural ability and his power to get him through fights sometimes. i totally agree with that but i feel he is overated more likely more risk vs reward type guy that other fighters didnt take that chance against him.

You can only fight who is put in front of you and ive never seen Tszyu turn down anyone.

Floyd would be able to out point him. Kosta would be a threat early to mid fight but I think floyd can stay away from his power shots and score more often to get a points win. Kosta liked to stalk boxers, most boxers got done in b/c they dont like to be chased and could not handle pressure. Floyd does not mind a guy chasing him and he can handle the pressure and not do something stupid A la Zabdiel.

hahaha.. I think i might have to give this one a miss. Been there and done that all too many times now. I don't think any arguement is going to be convincing enough to change an opinion here. Why don't we PM Sues2nd, KG, Brooklyn and your all time fav CHJ and then have a debate over something less contraversial like KT vs Whitaker?

fighter a versus fighter b versus fighter c arguments don’t really work. this topic seems to always have idiots that say ‘well, phillips beat tszyu so anyone can beat tszyu’.

but if you use that mentality, tszyu starched the best versions (prime) of slick boxers judah and mitchell (who were never ever the same after he finished with them) in a much more convincing way that floyd did.

If I looked at it that way and the fact Tszyu never struggled with speed or slick guys, it’s KT knocking floyd out in the tenth

Are you kidding? KT knocked him down four times and stopped him in 3. Mitchell 1 year later at the tail end of his career tagged Floyd and frustrated him and took him 6 rounds to finish. I know that KT has more power which is the major difference in the time of the stoppage, but he was also landing more effective punches then what floyd could.

I disagree completely. Floyd was actually dissapointed with his performace here, as were the commentary team. Mitchell although not landing overly effectively, was still getting his shots on, and still prevented Mayweather from landing for the most part. Floyd has a huge style advantage here as Mitchell is a pure boxer, and Mayweather is better technically and at this stage of Mitchells career had far more speed. He really should have either been hit less or finished it earlier. He tried to be the aggressor which doesn't obviously come naturally to him and IMO it didn't work that well for him. Floyds shoulder roll also appears to be not as effective against south paws, which in some points lead to him getting tagged with punches that he normally wouldn't get hit with. yes he dominated Mitchell overall, but Kostya simply annihilated him, even after practically giving the first round away by not throwing one right hand. Big difference.

Pea you say that KT didn't have a very good chin because he was stopped, but he stood toe to toe with Phillips and traded bombs. Phillips wasn't a massive puncher, but a big guy for 140 who could still hit. A fighter also who faced a lot of problems outside the ring, and came into the fight in great condition and highly motivated. What other fights lead you to believe he has a suspect chin? I hope it isn't the two first round slips that occured against Hurtardo, where he clearly was not hurt?

Mitchell landed two good left hands on floyd. That is it. Floyd was mad that he did that. And Mitchell fought Floyd scared and held and wrestled and used a whole lot of dirty tricks like just jumping into him like a football player. Tsyu beat down mitchell, but Floyd did it as well. Tsyu has that str8 right hand that is easy to land on a southpaw as everyone knows. It would not land easy on floyd. Also floyd has problems with southies. I think Kosta could win of course. But I think by the time they would have actually fought, Floyd would of won no doubt. Kosta is too stiff.

That was in regards to Mitchell and why floyd did not blow him out of the water more then what he already did.

I'm not getting into the whole thing, I've read bits and pieces, but seriously??

Floyd had NO BUSINESS even fighting Mitchell:nono The match up was a complete joke at 47 given Sharmba's entire career was at 40 previously.

To top it off?? Tszyu had absolutely RUINED MITCHELL !!! The second fight was an absolute beat down and destruction of Mitchell.

Also?? Sharmba walked into the ring with a black eye and tha doesnt spell READY after geting hammered by Tszyu.

That fight was mere EXCUSE to save from facing a real 147 fighter and to space the time UNTIL HE COULD FIGHT JUDAH!!!!

Another infamous sparring session!! One that went Floyds way!!!:yep
