Those predictions of at least 2 Million in PPV sales are out the window bro. Which means that there will be little leverage for Floyd to ask for the lions share.

My intial thoughts were that Floyd/Shane would do GREAT numbers far beyond 1.5 Million in PPV buys which would put Floyd in the drivers seat. But if he only did 1.1 or 1.2 Million he doens't hold the wild card he was expecting to leverage in round 2 of negotiations.

50/50 is the best either man will get....now it's about the drug testing AGAIN!:patsch

I didn't think so either. But from initial reports it looks like it did,:? I thought the fight would do 1.5 EASY.. I guess we'll have to wait to see the final numbers.

I didn't know having blood taken 14 days before a fight would turn you into a walking corpse.

Floyd better hope those reports of 1.1-1.2 ppvs is inaccurate, because all the drug testing demands in the world won't get him anything more than a 50/50 split.

The only reports (or lack of) are from Lole who twittered that he heard 1.1 to 1.2. It's all crap, no official numbers have been released. The fight will end up doing more than that.

Roach asked for 5 days. They are lucky to be getting 14 on that basis.

"If they give me a 5-day window or something like that I have no problem with it," Roach said. "When they've drawn blood from Manny in the past he feels weaker for three or four days. It may be mental, but it's there."

I would think so myself. 1.1 for Floyd/Shane sounds low to me. But Kevin is a HUGE fan of Floyd and I think he'd embellish those numbers before putting out there a lower one. I wouldnt be surprised if I was right and the fight did around 1.5 million in PPV buys.

Yeah but he said that during the early negotiations of the last fight. Arum/Pac didn't care that Roach said 5 days, they still insisted on 24.

Also, keep in mind that Pac/Cotto was $49 and May/Mos was $54. Even if the buys do turn out to be similar, Floyd would have brought in more money.

pacquiao will probably bend to mayweathers demands when and if he loses the may 10th elections.

Wrong. The statement was made to the Associated Press on December 23rd. Arum called it off later the same day, and negotiations truely halted on 7th/8th January.

And as for the last bit of the comment, you fact remains that Pacquiao - as confirmed by Roach - only feels weak for 3-4 days after blood testing. If that's the case, then why is he complaining about 14 days?
