How do you figure that when Cotto beat Mosley? Shouldn't that make Cotto a bigger win? I know there is the Margarito fights inwhich Cotto lost and Shane won, however I think we can agree the legitimacy of Margarito's win over Cotto is questionable.

The Ring Magazine's voting panel is made up of 45 or so boxing writers from around the world of which only 3 are Ring Magazine employees.

    Bias you say?

Cotto lost to Marg......Shane Destroyed him. I'm not saying I'm 100% right. That's just my opinion. Margs win over Cotto is questionable.

personally i think Floyd is now no.1, but I have no issue with Pac getting the nod. Anyway GBP have a deal with Floyd and Pac is a TR fighter so how can they be biased towards him?

both floyd and pac had what can only be discribe as warm up fights. for pac i think he keeps it cause he did nothing to lose it, he took an easy fight (as did floyd) and he dominated (as did floyd).

what has pac done wrong - what has floyd done so right to take number 1.

and dont give me that bull**** that mosley was top 5 p4p. cause he never was - pac would have KO'ed his ass.

Floyd is gonna have to wait until one of 3 things happen:

    1- pac retires from boxing
    2- pac loses
    3- he beats pac

sure one of them will happen in the next 12 months. hopeful 3 cause at least we get to see this mythical match-up. otherwise we gonna be talking about it for years

Yeah, it's scary to think how much more dominant Floyd will be after this. He has only a few fights after his return. Who really cares about P4P? It's another boxing title. Pac, IMO, is not even P4P material. He's like Barry Bonds. Put a HUGE ASTERISK next to his name in the history books.

If I turn my tin foil 180 degrees I can also say
"Putting PBF #1 would embaress Pac and force him to reclaim it and giving PBF and GBP MORE leverage in negotiations."

while mayweather's performance was impressive last weekend, manny pacquaio has not done anything to have himself removed from the top spot.
