Forrest Griffin has had to withdraw from his scheduled light heavyweight bout with Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. The two were set to co-main event UFC 114 on May 29 in Las Vegas. A grudge match between former light heavyweight champions and “Ultimate Fighter” coaches Rashad Evans and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson heads the fight card.

MMAWeekly.com confirmed with sources close to the fighter’s camp that Griffin injured his shoulder and had to withdraw from the fight. TMZ.com was the first to report his exit.

Lame. I can't imagine Brilz winning this fight.

I agree. The UFC has plenty of guys at 205 most are busy but im sure contender with a name could have took this fight on a months notice. Nog is world class he deserves the big fights. I thought with a win vs Forrest he could possibly be looking at a title shot depending on what happens with the next 2 PPV main events. I doubt he gets one by beating Brilz.

Disappointing replacement. I thought they could get someone like Thiago Silva. As long as Britz comes to fight it'll be okay.
