Not without stepping it up a skill level or two.

I wish it would happen. I believe Bute would win. Joe would rather fight Syd Vanderpool.

Joe and Bute have very little in common. Bute actually boxes decently and looks like fighter. Joe was a vanilla gorilla slap punching goofball. He did step it up and beat a couple of very old legends in his final days......

Calslappy was a talented fighter. The amount of haters he has testifies to that.

My gut tells me that Joe will be back; whether it's to face Bute or not is beyond me.

Never heard Bute call out Calzaghe when they were both SMWs. Like Bute but not really sure he wanted back then, if so why want it now

This would be a great fight and much better then Bute vs Pavlik, Stiglitz or even Hopkins.

Calzaghe retired as the undisputed LHW champion, he is still undefeated...Let Bute beat him into retirement, in Montreal so I can attend lol.

Bute vs Calzaghe is 1000x better then that fight, but Calzaghe probably doesn't want to face any young/hungry fighters, the only reason it could happen is because Bute draws so much in Montreal.

Did Bute ever call out Calzaghe when they were both SMWs?
When Calzaghe was past his prime he fought Lacy and Kessler. Kessler has done alot more than Bute in his career and id say Bute and Lacy (pre-Calzaghe) in my opinion arent too far removed in the competition they have fought. Thats not to say Bute may not turn out to be better

I said he doesn't want to face those type of fighters NOW, after a two year retirement/coke use and after he got dropped in both his last two fights by aging fighters.
