I had it the same as you Popkins with the exception of the first round which I scored for Pacquiao. I rewatched that first round again just now actually, seeing you've changed it to even on further viewing and I can't see how you'd score it any other way than for Pac. Marquez landed very little and one meaningful punch whereas Pacquiao outlanded him. Definitely Pacquiao's round. I've watched it twice now. The first time I had Pacquiao a couple more points ahead but in rewatching it I changed a couple in favor of Marquez. Although I've an extremely close 114-113 scorecard it wasn't a fight that I saw enough close/swing rounds for someone to score it 2/3 points in Marquez's favor and I've always wondered about that. Would like to see someone's actual scorecard who scored it like that but I imagine not all of you are sad enough to record the scorecard of each and every fight you score lol.
You`ve changed your tune, popkins. You were correct the 1st time, Marquez won the fight by bagging 7 rds. I dont have my old scorecard handy but I scored it 7-4-1 for Marquez, easy fight to score in general.
Also... I dont see howe any **** can give Pacquiao rds 1 or 2, those were rds that neither fighter was doing anything better than the other right until the end when JMM landed a cracking flush punch... surely enough to bag an otherwise even rd.
1) Marquez 10-9 2) Marquez 10-9 3) Pacquiao 10-8 4) Pacquiao 10-9 5) Marquez 10-9 6) Marquez 10-9 7) Pacquiao 10-9 8) Marquez 10-9 9) Marquez 10-9 10) Pacquiao 10-9 11) Marquez 10-9 12) Marquez 10-9 I'd try to be as non-biased as possible because I'm a Marquez fan but I thought Marquez toke this fight. Close, but clearly a Marquez win on my card. 115-112 Marquez 8-4
to say marquez was robbed is an understatment, he boxed him silly. before the result came out pac worked up to marquez to congratulate him and then once he got the gift decision he couldn't believe the judges were so bad.
Why ? :huh I own the fight & have scored it (Ive watched & enjoyed a few more times without scoring as well) but I didnt keep hold of my card & cant be arsed at this time to rewatch the entire fight.... but I remember my score + a few other things just from memory but not the entire scorecard. I scored the fight 7-4-1 to JMM I scored rd 7 even I gave JMM rds 1, 2, 8 (very big, could have been a 10-8),) 11 & 12. I gave Pac a 10-8 rd in rd 3 :good
Talk about missed opportunity, JMM/Pac 3 at 135 immediately would have been a fight for the ages. I rewatched this fight and didnt realize til then how great a fight it was.
I just got the DVD for this fight (I refused to score the fight watching youtube). So, watching Pac-Marquez II with DVD quality, here's my scorecard. I can't believe anyone would have this a more one-sided fight, but that's nuthugger bias for you. Round 1: Marquez 10-9 Round 2: Marquez 10-9 Round 3: Pacquiao 10-8 Round 4: Pacquiao 10-9 Round 5: Marquez 10-9 Round 6: Marquez 10-9 Round 7: Pacquiao 10-9 Round 8: Marquez 10-9 Round 9: Pacquiao 10-9 Round 10: Pacquiao 10-9 Round 11: Pacquiao 10-9 Round 12: Marquez 10-9 Pacquiao: 114 Marquez: 113
Still waiting for a response from a particular clown in this forum. I posted the evidence, and Caneman ran off simply ignoring that I posted the evidence to his claim that Pac did'nt have a choice between fighting at 130 lbs or 135 lbs.:deal Does it hurt that much Caneman to just man up and admit to being wrong? "I stand corrected divac. You apparently are correct, Pac chose 130 lbs, my bad." Would that be so hard Caneman?
Hey drama queen. I just saw your post right now. I may have read wrong information or did not remember correctly. Thank you Divac for the correction. P. S. Don't forget to take your PMS medication.
I posted it 12 days ago, and you with nearly 2000 posts in 9 months just conveniently read it now?:rofl:rofl:rofl Read wrong info my ass....... When you plain just dont know, which I'm certain was the case in this scenario.....its simply best to not make things up, and STFU!:deal :bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb :yep
