Toney is a terrible fighter to go to MMA because like Briggs, Butterbean, Botha, Mayorga and co he can't train hard in 1 martial art let alone 5.

even when toneys lost, and even when hes lost and looked crap, hes always there in the final round still standing and fighting and then talking ****

i know **** all about ufc but realistically hes going to spend about 2 minutes rolling around on the floor and then submitting here isnt he? going to be a total humbling and totally unneccessary

 

Would be so good to see toney destroy him.

 

Toney will be destroyed, no doubt in my mind, this will be a cakewalk for Couture. Boxers with **** all wrestling/submission experience should stay well away from MMA, because they will only end up embarrassing themselves.

Not at all - but calling an entire field of athletes gay because you don't like the sport is hardly earth shattering with "informed opinion" is it. atsch Especially when in all likelihood it is coming from a couch potato who would be rendered into a human punching bag by any of those athletes. Your opinion. Thank **** the blokes that train in the gym's I deal with don't have that attitude. Muay Thai, boxing and MMA trainers and fighters working together with no hang ups and paying no attention to internet warriors getting their knickers in a twist because they feel threatened somehow.

 

Threatened? As I've trained in Muay Thai I'm hardly anti-martial arts.

The actual process of viewing the sport (UFC; K-1 etc etc) is.....well, shite and ultra boring.

As you say, only my opinion, but as you're on a Boxing forum I'd say don't be surprised if you get a lot of anti-MMA opinions.

 

He's ****ing right.... MMA is just a bunch of wasters who couldn't cut it participating in the Sweet Science because they struggle with the discipline, so they get there kicks from wearing hotpants and gay gloves and rolling around on the floor writhing ontop of another man until they've 'loved' him to death !!

 

Of course I will - seems like there are a lot of blokes on here that rack up thousands of posts giving **** to athletes whilst doing **** all themselves.

Of course on the basis that they have thousands of posts they tell you they are contributing - I say they need to get a ****in' life and rather than spoutin' off get to a damm gym and get some experience in :bbb instead of talking ****.

 

How will going to the gym make MMA more appealing? It's God awful.

Only fight I want to see is Emilienko vs Lesnar; and thats got less chance of happening than Floyd-Pacman.
