no your living in la la land .. shane took margarito out of the fight by landing big shots on him in the first 3 rounds .. Shane corner even comment to this fact, that when margarito tries to step on the gas he will realize he has nothing left.

 

That's the whole point. He's well conditioned for taking punches; Floyd isn't.

Being able to take 1 or 2 clean shots and not go down doesn't prove you have a great chin. What if Floyd got hit by 3, 4, or 5 shots? 10? We don't know, because we haven't seen it. Until then, people should get off his nuts and stop claiming he has a concrete/Margarito-like jaw because that's ridiculous.

 

I like Nazim. Hes one of those people who, when he speaks, you stop and listen to what he has to say.

 

Margacheato had his moments later in the fight BUT he had no defense and Shane stopped throwing normal rights and started throwing and landing Haymakers, which he couldn't miss, Margo was done.

As for Floyd, I wouldn't say his punch resistance is bad but I wouldn't call it great either, however, he does have great instincts and is very cagey in their, it would take a great puncher with great instincts to get him out of there, currently that fighter doesn't exist as Tito and Tommy Hearns were the WWs who true pop.

 

I would say he have a good chin, because he took that shot rather well for someone who don't get hit often. No it's not a Margarito chin, but its a good chin. The thing about taking punches like that, is over time they may cause some serious damage after his career is over.

 

That's exactly what happened...

Pit seems to believe Margarito crumbled and was taken out of the fight as soon as the first shots landed. Just not true. He's just not good technically and has 0 defense and like you said, Shane loaded up on every shot cause he couldn't miss and eventually took him out.

Floyd took 2 rights and was rocked hard, Margarito took many more. But hey, Pit and others will try to make a case for Floyd hitting as hard as Tyson if he didn't have "brittle" hands or something like that. :roll:
