5 year anniversary of Corrales v Castillo 1

He sure does sort it out. Quality.

 

He died on the exact same day on 2 yrs later it's his death anniversary as well .

 

I watched it live, awesome fight, shame i was so pissed:yep nearly missed the tenth cause i had to take a ****......I was up in the gods with the mexicans, we all got bang on the large coronas:yep awesome....awesome night.

Cant believe its 5 years.....time flies....

 

R.I.P. Chico. I remember when this fight got made and everyone knew (including the media) that it was going to be jaw-dropping, it more than delivered on that.

I have watched this fight, and sorry, I dont find it that exciting. The skill-level, I thought was terrible, and you hvae this sloppy inside fighting for 9 rounds, then an amazing 10th round.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion mate. Some appreciate the sweet science, some appreciate ring warfare.

I can watch Floyd v Shane and enjoy it but I can watch Froch v Kessler and enjoy it. Each to their own.

 

Boxing purists **** me off though... but you make a fair point. I know Gpater is a respected member of the board but it seemed to me like a weird statement. I mean what isn't to like?!? I can enjoy boxing clincs and they serve a purpose but they often lack the dram of a fight like this, where I felt there was actually some superb inside work going on.

 

GPater seems to dislike everything if it's popular with most people.

Greg if you don't respect the bravery and heart displayed then you got no stones. To respect what happened here is not to discredit any skillful fighters, you can still enjoy that stuff and enjoy Corrales-Castillo, absolute legendary fight regardless of anything you've just said.
