Also i think where i buy my Ring mag, (the last known place that sells it where im from) has taken it off the shelf (theres about 4 different mma magazines, mind you) Although boxing has made a 'comeback' of sorts it still has a loooooong ways to go.
its a crying shame but they need to think abut it if they have a half hour sow they could show and talk about a whole rage of things , boxing deserves one but mma has apealled to the frat boys,the jocks, the white collar guy etc etc
we have to accept it MMA is more popular right now between the mainstream people.. i love boxing and i think it requires more talent and dedication to make it as a boxer but MMA people are marqueting their sport the right way.. still a boxer will kick any MMA fighters ass easily :hat
It's all about marketing, if boxing could sell itself well and kick out these no good promoters and all those ABC belts than it can stay in the public eye.
