Anyone know about his amateur pedigree? Seems awfully young for a heavyweight to go pro..

Garret had a solid amateur background with a reported 42-5 record and was a Junior Olympic champion in 2007.

Garett Simon will win a world title within the next three years! I have seen the kid grow and was handling seasoned Heavyweights in the Gym at 16 years old! Give him time to mature and season as a pro and he will be a world champion!

Looks like a Cruiserweight to me. Unless he gains some natural muscle with age which is likely to happen.

I like him... good stuff.... but he needs to put on a bit more weight...hes basically a cruiserweight... but other than that he can do pretty good..

He has quick hands and looks like he could be a good prospect. I see he's listed as Cruiser and he's grown to be atleast 6'4 or 6'5 in the last year. He's only 19 so I understand why he's at Crusier. But when he turn's 21 I want to see him with more weight and back in the heavyweight division.

Definately a true cruiser. he looks decent but I could see him getting overpowered at heavyweight as he moved up in competition unless he bulks up a little.

Not too bad. But not great either. A lot of work to do. They should keep him in the down low until he is at least 23y/o
