Dirrell. He is right now and will clearly be on top after whipping his former teammate Ward. Both Dirrell and Ward would whip the **** out of Bute.

I'd say for me it's a toss-up between Ward and Dirrell right now. I think it's too soon to be comparing Bute to these other guys seeing as he might not have too many challenges til this Super Six tourney is resolved.

im not comparing dirrell or ward to bute. I just think dirrell and ward are the only fighters with the tools to beat bute. After the super six is done unless bute breaks with hbo he will still be searching for a body to beatup

Bute. Ward has a good case for beating #1 Kessler, but that's the only performance H2H because Bute outperformed his 2nd best win (Miranda) and also beat reigning world champion Berrio, top6 (before s6) Sakio Bika who's on a very solid run ever since, top10 Andrade (outperforming Kessler in the 2nd fight) plus some okay names. People often hold the Berrio and Andrade wins against Bute saying oh those weren't anything notable, but that's nonsense, Berrio was top4 at the time and Andrade is still a very dangerous top10 SMW. Bute resume is just more solid at the moment and he blew away his last 3 like they never were blown away before.

bone, who has Bute beaten? Fighters that pose no threat whatsoever, hand selected. The reason Bute isnt in the tourney is because he chose not to be. Anybody in the tourney with the exception of Froch can handle bute. Bute is bottom rung for his personal choice to not test himself. Sorry folks Andrade and Miranda are barely gatekeepers let alone an honest test. Bika, thats it.

I voted Bute, but I think a case could be made for Ward as well.

    Number 1: Vacant

We will see. If Bute is still undefeated by the end of the super six, it will be a long time before we see...Be a long time anyway.

Bika, Andrade and Berrio were all top 10 when Bute fought them. Bika and Andrade were even top 5.

And Bute was never invited in the tourney. He didn't choose anything, he just never recieve a call!

It's ok if you don't put him #1, but at least don't twist the facts to make your point...
