So who wins, people? I believe that Williams will be able to stop Cintron sometime late in the fight. I know the likely scenario is Williams by decision, but I can't help but to think that Cintron was stopped twice by Margarcheato, who of course hits harder than Williams and should've been stopped by Martinez who I don't think hits harder than Williams. Martinez and Williams have equal power in my opinion, of course I have never been hit by either of them. Anyway, who and how people? My final guess is Williams KO 9.
I'm gonna take Cintron by knockout. I think Williams is there to be hit and Cintron thrives off of that type of opponent.
I hope to see a good, if not great fight no matter who wins. I think stylistically, this fight has the formula to be an action packed night in the ring. I like both, but am rooting for Williams. My guess of Williams KO 9 is me going out on a limb, because I could definitely see Williams winning a decision. I don't think Cintron is nearly as mentally tough as Williams. I am interested to see how Cintron's big power is when he lands on Paul. Sometimes a fighter has devastating power, but when the bell rings it's like "where is his punch?'' A good example of that is Trinidad-Wright. I know Tito hardly hit Winky, but when he hit his gloves you didn't hear that thud that you did in previous Trinidad bouts. Anyway, I am curious to see if Cintron will have the power against Williams. Paul is the bigger guy, by bigger I mean taller with a longer reach.
If "The Killer" is composed and fights his fight, he wins...KO or Dec. PTP is a beast though. I'm going by possibility for a Kermit win just because he possesses EVERY FUKKn tool. He just gotta keep his confidence attached 2 his Supreme Maker nd fight like a warrior nd not like a bully. Sergio Martinez fights like a warrior. Whether Maravilla is winning or losing he imposes his will nd determination to win. That's mental fortitude. Boxing is a very high percentage mental game. Its combat to the fullest ESPECIALLY wit da right trainer. The late and great CHICO Corrales. He wasn't as great technically as many other world champions, but he understood his weaknesses nd strengths nd gave it his all. He's a warrior. I'd say deff a great bcuz he found a way 2 compete at da world stage becoming a multi-champ in 2 weight classes. He was definately elite. Imagine if Freddy Roach helped him as an Assist or Head trainer. Sorry, but I'm going for Kermit by decision. Maybe I'm hoping the underdog wins. I'm guessing dat Kermit is alive mentally and is discovering his natural God-given abilities. He's learning to be himself because he's becoming happier with himself. However, its easy 4 me 2 take Paul Williams by mid-late stoppage just by reminiscing the duel deuling Margarito encounters. Styles make fights. Let's find out!
I like Williams for this. I would very surprised if Cintron could pull out the win. Williams will overwhelm him and though I voted for Williams by UD I could see a late stoppage being on the cards. I must be confident because I bet £100 on Williams at not great odds.
Cintron won't win on points. That's the only thing I'm sure about. He'll either spark PWill with that right hand (at any time) or PWill will win on points or KO Cintron late. I'm going with Williams on points or late round (9+) KO, but that right hand from Frogboy always gives him a shot.
I think PW will take Kermits best shot but kermit will end up getting overwhelmed by volume. Williams tko 7.
Williams on volume, volume, volume. But if Cintron KOs PW I wouldn't be shocked. Williams' defense is porous, to say the least.
I'm picking Williams here. There's nothing wrong with Cintron but he's going to get outpointed. I entered "by decision" on the poll but I wouldn't be super shocked to see a stoppage.
