Naito is awkward as hell, especially for a text-bookish guy like Wonjongkam. His speed is which got him into range and that was impressive, but he also hung in tough in the late rounds and outworked Pongsaklek.

But have you seen how long Naito's neck is? No wonder he got KO'd in 1.

His chin hasnt really been tested enough to say if he will go the distance but Chang is the class above IMO and soundly thrashes him.

I cant wait to watch the 2nd and 4th fights (Youtube aint working again). I will need to watch the Naito vs Kameda fight aswell.

One thing I notcied is Pongsaklek looked quite laid back in third fight, casual so to speak.

Sorry to re-post, but at 7:02 there is a killer shot from Naito. The 3rd fight looks to be quality, Naito piles on the pressure and Wonjongkam looks gone. Naito is an awkward and spiteful hitter.

Wonjongkam never really looks in trouble in the third fight IMO he gets hit wiht good shots but never really bothered IMO. Naito looks hurt and tired late on though.

I know TFFP is a big fan of this series of fights. He sent me a link to one (maybe the third) ages ago. Good rivalry, let's hope it's settled with a fifth.

i don't think khaokor was superior to khaosai. the latter achieved a lot more and never got blown out.

pongsaklek is getting respect as agreat flyweight. he destroyed naito in the first fight. in the 2nd, he controlled the action, but it was cut short in the mid rounds due to head clashes.

the 3rd and 4th fights were wars, with naito deservedly beating a stale looking pongsaklek (though taking an absolute beating around the 9th) in fight 3. pongsaklek i felt won their 4th fight, a "draw" in japan that allowed naito to retain his title. after 8 rds pongsaklek looked furious at the scores (WBC open scoring) and had a really big 9th round - again. the thai controls the bout, but naito steals plenty of openings with hard lunging shots. pongsaklek looked to be a few rounds in front but naito made a fierce rally in the final minute of the 12th of this action fight.

pongsaklek beat kameda pretty easily. kameda has become too much of a counter puncher. he let pongsaklek dictate and from that there was only one winner. but kameda's counter punching style worked a treat on naito, whose face he made a terrible mess of due to clean power shots on the back foot.

Kkaokor: better opposition and NEVER got blown out, unless you're referring to the Espinosa fight you're a mentalist; no punch lands.

Actually I thought the kameda vs Pong fight was fairly close, but it is a good point about Kameda being too much a counter puncher
