i love ricky but............. he certainly wasn't winning that round a while ago i saw a video on youtube after the fight where hatton himself said he was winning the 2nd round before the KO (i can't find it now - link anyone?) so i re-watched the fight then - and i don't think hatton won an exchange let alone a round (or part of a round). i came away believeing the ricky hadn't actually watched the fight yet - perhaps he couldn't face it and maybe people where just telling him he did better in the 2nd (which of course he did do - after all he was KD twice in the 1st and was totally dominated) but there is a big diference between doing better and winning the round - its impossible to watch that 2nd round up to the final KO and give that round to ricky - it wasn't even close also how desperate do you have to be to try and take comfort from winning a couple of minutes of a two round fight in between being KD twice and then finally KO to oblivion with one punch (especially when it clearly isn't true) then we get this strange unexplained pause in his plans - will there be another fight? or has he (as the rumours suggestted) retired? I think maybe he finally actually watched the Pac fight for the first time (despite previous claim he had already watched it) and was faced with the blindingly obvious truth - he was outclassed from the bell to the spectatular KO - and maybe this is what has made him reconsider his plans - you can't honestly watch that fight and take any comfort at all and you can't put that performance down to being over trained either the truth is he simply wasn't up to it - perhaps ricky is facing facts i really hope he see sense and retires now
