Calzaghe - Kessler trouble with judges

With Warrens prefered judges Calzaghe knows he just have to get through the fight to win, and if you fight just to stay alive it makes it harder for the opponent (Kessler in this case) to KO you. Just take a look at the Mundine fight, Mundine fought a 'safety first'-fight and wasn't KO'ed.

I maintain Calzaghe by controversial decision.

We will remain after 4th even if Kessler should lose. Afterall, he has many more fights in him(J/K) - I am sure most are here because they love boxing foremostly.

 

FW just uses every trick in the book - take it as a good sign.

It may be a controversial decision - its even very possible, because if the fight is close, its all about what you score for. Either you rate JCs hits highly or not so high.

But... I am fairly certain that Kessler won't make it too close. If we see a clearcut gift decision - well, then JCs legacy is tainted even more, than a loss would grant him.

 

Or Kessler could simply get dominated, which is my pick.

I've said all along that Kessler will have to clearly win 9 rounds to get a decision.

 

who cares if the judge is Italian. THat is petty BS on Kesslers part. JC is going to take him apart.

 

How would you feel if a judge was Danish? Before you start claiming it is not the same, let me remind you that Calzaghe is half Italian and Kessler is half Danish.

Btw it was not Kessler that complained about the judge it was Palle, at least try to get the facts straight.:roll:

 

The match is nailbiting enough without such fears - think positive, mate.

 

JC has no history of gift decisions - at least I haven't witnessed them.

Having said that - its often hard for judges to be unaffected by 50,000 screaming fans that cheers every time their boxer does the slightest.

 

It is not easy when a guy like Warren is in the picture. Why do you think Warren is so determined to get the Italian judge back?:think

To get the Team Palle camp off-beat - and I just see it as another power-struggle between the two.
