PAC and PBF are each others biggest possible purse no doubt about that.

But if that fight is not made, Margarito would probably be Pac's next biggest purse and it would stay in Arum's stable so it seems like the next logical move.

PAC/Margarito would outdue PBF/Mosley and that would once again give Arum/Pac rights to at least 50/50 negotiations.

Margarito would get yet another career ending beat down.

Technically, it won't be another 'career ending' one as his career is still ongoing. This leads me to believe that he was never received a 'career ending' beatdown before.

    Sorry, I had to.

That would be a positive thing coming out of this fight. I can't think of anyone else that would give him a better beat down right now.

Definitely a possibility. With HBO 24/7 behind it.

I might be in the minority on this one but I'm thinking Pac will have some form of random drug testing (probably with a cut off date) for his next fight regardless if the oppnent is PBF or not.

When the **** did Roach say that? I saw an interview a while back where Roach expressed serious concerns about putting Pac in there with Margarito.

I am pretty sure that was after Margo destroyed Cotto and before he lost to Mosley. Now that Margarito looks vulnerable I think Roach might just go for it. If I were Margo and the PAC/PBF match falls through I would demand random drug testing as well because Arum won't have any options left.

Yeah if only more guys would avoid the best possible opponents, boxing would garner more respect.
