A good hands-only stand-up. The problem with that is average fighters in terms of talent can take him down and gas him out. He can land shots with his fists on a lot of people but that's really his only strength. He's not a proven striker though. I have a feeling Arlovski would KO him. So he has a small percentage of what it takes to be an MMA fighter but has more talent than most in that limited aspect.

A little harsh don't you think? Mitrione seems to have that all important strong chin, decent power in his hands and very flexible legs for such a big dude. He can literally connect on an opponent's chin with a knee strike in a clinch while the other fighter is standing fully erect. But he does look very sloppy physically with fat hanging off him. If he starts really training he should lose some fat and gain some muscle. Unfortunately, he is in a very stacked division so he better choose his opponents wisely.

 

Im not impressed with him in the slightest. And that stupid ****ing grin he has does my head in. Dam shame Kimbo never caved his mug in.

Go to Strikeforce. He is still a name. They should capitalise on that for publicity. I doubt he would be able to command much money now.

 

Mitrione has that big dumb white guy act down to perfection. Same as Koschek is suddenly this arrogant badboy who is openly contemptuous of other fighters and their fans. It's all an act. Mitrione has faced two real big dudes with powerful hands and whipped them both in his last two fights. He is a neophyte to MMA and shows potential. Hell, Eli Manning has the same goofy grin but the dude won the superbowl.

 

Being a Reality Kings bodyguard again. Not too bad of a gig when you think about it.
