There's talk of LeBron James earning bucket loads from endorsements if he up sticks and goes to the New York Knicks after the Playoffs. Don't know how true this is though

interesting question! I think he would make more than $40 v pac and could be in the $120-125 range. I think he would pass tiger because everybody (endorses) has jumped ship. I just found a link and it does not even bring PBF into the equation. anyways here is the link:

if he is not the highest paid athlete this year he will be very close!

why do people keep posting the same link as if it's surprising? He fought once in 09 and zero in 08. Of course he's not on the list.

No way that he makes 40 million in a 78 million revenue (that is apprently officvial figure) fight.

People are just suckers to whatever Schaefer and Ellerbe are sayig.

HBO gets half, that means 39 million is left. 7 million to Mosley, meaning 32 million is left. Assuming he gets all of that, that is still far cry from 40 million.

Just as everybody believes that he got 20 mllion from doiung the choreograph show with big show. Just as everybody believe that he got 30 million for his fight with JMM. A fight that generated about 60 million.

He'll be number 1 or 2 in 2010 if he fights Pacquiao.

What about the other revenue streams? You still have the site fee, the live gate, licensing fees, sponsorships, international sales, and closed circuit sales.

Floyd claimed he was making 60 million off this fight.

He has never told the truth about any finances ever.
He lies about money to seem like he is some billionaire princess.

Assuming all numbers are correct, after taxes, the most that he will get is 20 million. The promoter has to be paid, the manager has to be paid, Hw will end up probably with 15 million.

But then we are again in the accountant's convention, as usual.
