Watching Byrd is about as bad as wathing Ruiz. And Povetkin isn't all that...

 

Thanks. Byrd quick jab and defensive south paw style threw Povetkin off a bit. Povetkin could not land his hook to the head. I was impressed with Povetkin's body shots, and quick stright right.

 

Dammit; I don't spreche Deutsche; and I can't get the videos to work...I'm assuming the pages popping up and red text at the bottom is an error message. Is there any English-language site this may be on?

 

Bryd is a hard guy to look good against, he fights not to loose rather than to win so his oppenent is always involved in a boring fight.

 

This fight strikes me as a typical German farce.

The Heavyweight Champion looked great when he knocked out byrd in the 7th round.

 

to be honest though byrd knew on the outside he wasnt goign to win...like last time so he was goign to swarm him and fight on the inside like against tua...worked out well :hey

 

Sort of sad to see how far Byrd's skills have diminished. Like most fighters in the latter stages of their career he just can't seem to pull the trigger anymore.

I was impressed with Povetkin's quickness with his hands but he doesn't seem to sit down on his punches or get much mmph into them. But I'd say he looks to be in tremendous condition. That with his solid boxing skills is enough to beat a lot of these overweight heavies with pitiful stamina.
