Chavez was completely ruthless in this fight. 1 his best performances without doubt

 

Quite a few people in the magazines were going for Chapo in that fight or at least seeing as a tough fight to pick.

 

really. fair play to him for not quiting. his face looked a mess. chavez was awesome:bbb:thumbsup

El Chapo was a fantastic boxer-puncher. He really had some brilliant boxing skills, with a nice smooth rhythm he worked off that jab and then came in with the combinations. He was really fluid and hit hard with either hand.

The only thing is he fell in love with his power abit and began just to look for the big shot, as Lightweight champion this was almsot exclusivly what he did.

 

Hopkins vs Trinidad

:good One of my favourites. Hopkins at (or near) his best.

 

yoko gushiken vs pedro flores I ,this fight a gave to gushiken by two points ,but in rounds i scored it 7-7-1

 

Working my way through the Marquez-Vazquez trilogy once again in anticipation.

 

Ike Ibeabuchi vs David Tua

I didn't even bother to score the rounds they were that close and competitive, but you couldn't help coming away from this fight impressed by the relatively unknown Nigerian. People are now quick to say that this kid was overrated and over hyped after this performance his demolition of Chris Byrd, but he was showing everything that was required to be a champion. He threw punches in combination. Double left hooks, one-twos followed by an uppercut. Lovely technique. He showed the power, and his chin was incredible to be able to take the hooks Tua was landing down the stretch. No question in my mind that this guy would have been a title holder had he not threw his life away.


Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

Very exciting, hard-hitting Heavyweight title fight. Lennox Lewis wasn't at his best, especially not physically, whereas Vitali was determined to erase the memories of his quit job against Chris Byrd. He did just that. I had Vitali marginally ahead before the stoppage, but you can't really argue with the stoppage. His face was an absolute mess. I spotted Marco Antonio Barrera in the crowd...he how about **** himself when Vitali landed that right cross in the second round. He loves his Boxing.
